Cheep and effective!
I’m honestly shocked how well this thing works. It looks like a mouse pad but can last for over an hour at intensities that match a professional unit. This can work for you if you like low low pressure/intensity or extremely high intensity. It worked out my plantar fasciitis foot cramps and provided pain relief immediately so I am super happy about it. It’s also pretty easy to use; though, maybe has too many functions.

EMS for Princess FeetâScottish Feet Need Not Apply
Letâs start with the good news: the MHD TENS EMS Foot Massager is portable, simple, and doesnât take up much space. But does it work? Well⦠letâs just say my big Scottish feet and their hearty callouses might not be the ideal test subjects.First Impressions:This device is sleek, lightweight, and incredibly easy to use. The remote only has three buttons: one to cycle through the modes, and two to adjust the intensity. Perfect, right? Except then you get to the modes themselves, as described in the manual:1) Vibration2) Massage3) S Shaping (Is the âSâ for Snake? Slim? Salsa? No clue.)4) Reduce Weight (From my feet?)5) Grease Buming (That’s not a typo on my part. I’m going to go out on a limb and say they had a bad translator and this should have been ‘Fat Burning’)6) Kneading7) Massage Again (Okay, whatâs different here?)8) Acupuncture (Are there secret needles? Should I worry?)9) Shaping and Weight Loss10-12) âMassage kneading and comprehensive modeâ (How comprehensive can it be if they need 3 versions?)If you think youâll figure out the differences, think again. Um, not really. The display on the pad has the tiniest readout ever for what mode youâre in. Youâll have to lean down and squint like youâre solving a cryptic crossword. At least the intensity is easier to read.Performance:As someone with mild neuropathy, I was curious to see if this would help. Iâd used EMS devices with sticky probes ages ago, and while they were a hassle, they worked well for muscle stimulation. This mat-style approach? Not so much.I clicked through all the modes and adjusted the intensity, but I only felt faint tingles in a few areas, mostly around my toes and Achilles. Arches? Nope. Pads? Meh. Maybe itâs my big feet and callouses, but this didnât do much for me. Perhaps someone with dainty, callous-free âprincess feetâ would get a better experience, but for me, it was underwhelming even at higher settings. The Science of EMS/TENS:EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) and TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) are proven technologies. EMS helps contract muscles to improve circulation and relieve soreness, while TENS targets nerves to block pain signals. Both can be effective for mild discomfort or recovery. However, results depend on proper placement and adequate intensity. With a mat like this, precision is out the window. Itâs a lot less hassle than sticky electrodes, but that convenience seems to come at the cost of effectiveness. The Upsides:Portability: Itâs small, lightweight, and easy to store.Easy to Clean: The smooth surface makes wiping it down a breeze.USB-C Charging: Cordless use is a big win, and USB-C is the standard we all love.Price: For $40, itâs not a huge investment, even if itâs more novelty than therapy.Final Thoughts:The MHD TENS EMS Foot Massager has the convenience factor nailed, but the performance left me wanting. If youâre curious about EMS or TENS, this could be a fun starting point. Just donât expect it to revolutionize your foot care routineâespecially if youâve got feet like mine. For light relaxation, sure. For serious stimulation? You might want something with sticky probes.

It work3e
It took me a long time to figure out the directions (they are not clear). BUT after I figured you have to push the + sign again AFTER you select the mode you want, I really like it.

Read description thoroughly before purchasing.
When the item arrived the instruction booklet says if diabetic do not use.I missed seeing that on original description. Had to return.

Not for Diabetics. This is more TENS not EMS and is a better fit for women’s US sizes under 9.
You should never use anything on the feet of a diabetic without some prior discussion with a medical professional. This device says very clearly that it is not safe for use with a diabetic.I used this for muscular/ligament issues in my feet. As a male with a size 13 US shoe, this was not a good fit for me. Most things arent, though. It did fit a woman who was size 8.5 US very easily. Still, I was able to move my feet around to make it work. We use TENS and EMS devices in our home regularly so are well acquainted with what it should feel like. To me, it wasn’t strong enough and felt like a gentle tingle. The device itself is a bit flimsy and I’m concerned it wouldn’t last a long time. At the same time, it does pack flat or roll up and takes up almost no space so it would be good to pack on trips or use in small homes. However, I’m not sure it is worth 40.00.Functionally, I found it fine but the translations on the instructions were very lacking and they were so bad and had no real natural speaker that it was obvious an AI had generated it. You might be better off experimenting with it than using the instructions.

Awesome mat
This mat is like having a tens unit for your feet. Has 12 settings. With a remote. I use everyday after working 8 hours on my feet. Relieves pain in my feet. My only complaint is the instructions are in micro print. Had to use magnifying glass to read it(with my glasses on too)
