Perfect for long hikes
Bought this for our hiking trip and worked great for me! Itâs not too small but not too big and bulky at all. The water pack worked really well too and didnât leak at all. We hiked for 5 hours and it never felt uncomfortable. I was able to pack several snacks, a couple of extra articles of clothing and even an extra water bottle on the outside pocket. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality hiking backpack without spending a fortune.

A great bag for a short to medium hike
I like the size of this bag. I like hiking but 5-miles is pretty much my limit. The bag comes with a Camel pack inside which is great to keep one hydrated on a long, hot hike. There is also room for snacks, your cell phone and whatever other accessories you want to bring.I’m 5’8 and 170 pounds and the straps feel comfortable. It’s light weight and a great value for the money.I’m very happy with this purchase.

Backpack great / Water bladder better
I love the color of this backpack and the many pockets. The water bladder design and straw are just awful. It’s difficult to fill if you don’t hold it just right because it doesn’t open up to allow the water to flow into the bladder. You have to hold it open. It’s difficult to get inside to wash it properly because the hole is too small. When I leave it on a rack to dry, I often come back, even days later and realize that water has accumulated on the bottom (top), meaning after I empty it again, it requires a good three more days to dry. The straw has had drops of water in it for almost a week, even after disconnecting the mouthpiece. Speaking of that, it’s very difficult to get enough water per sip. It doesn’t open enough. On my way back on my last hike, I couldn’t get any water out, it felt blocked but I thought it might be empty. It was more than half full. I’m not sure what happened. Spend a little more money and get a good bladder.UPDATE: The day after I wrote this review, the seller wrote me a very nice note and offered to send me a newer version of the bladder that came with the pack. I was blown away by how kind they were and how honest and prompt. They said I would receive my new bladder by the 6th and I did. I have not tried the new bladder yet but the opening to fill it is larger and there is a cover over the straw so you can protect the part that goes in your mouth. They also suggested that I dry out the inside with a paper towel. I couldn’t easily do that before since the opening was so small but I think I can now. Thank you!

Small backpack with nice features!
I was looking for a smaller backpack for daytrips. I have a 40L Ecogear Snow Leopard pack that I LOVE but the company is no longer in business. So far I like this pack for the following reasons: 1) lightweight, but roomy. The main compartment is tall enough to hold my knee pad that I carry to yoga class. I can easily stuff my rain jacket and a down jacket or vest inside at the same time. 2) Built-in rain cover – one of the reasons I picked this bag over others of similar size: the rain cover is essential on multi-day hikes/walks to keep your gear dry. 3) 2L bladder – works well and it’s nice to have the option of either shoulder to run the hose out of. 4) Comfortable shoulder straps – at first I thought this pack was too big for me (5′-1″ tall) but I actually like having the shoulder straps away from my armpits – this means no chafing for long hikes and plenty of room to move my arms (I use trekking poles).Cons: Although you can use a bladder, sometimes you just need a water bottle! The side pouches are very small and it’s difficult to fit wider bottles into them, but since there are no loops to hang trekking poles, I can see using the mesh pouches to hold the poles and running them through the outer straps. It also would be nice if every zipper was set up with two zippers – only the main pouch is set up this way. The hip strap is adequate, as the pack is small, but I would have liked a padded hip strap.Separately, I use a Boosteady camera bag that I attach to the sternum or hip strap to keep my phone handy for taking photos along the way.So far I have used the backpack for getting around the city; looking forward to trying it out on longer day hikes and taking it to Japan this coming October for a 7-day walk in Tohoku.

Perfect for Hiking Adventures â Lightweight and Reliable!
I recently used the Everfun Hydration Backpack 18L with a 2L Water Bladder on a hiking trip to Iceland, and it was an absolute game-changer. The backpack is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to carry even on long hikes. The water bladder was simple to use and remove, allowing for quick refills without any hassleâa must when you’re on the go. The chest and hip straps were a fantastic feature; they kept the backpack securely in place while hiking and climbing through tight spaces, so I never felt off-balance or restricted. One of the standout features was the rain cover, which came in handy when an unexpected rainstorm hit. It kept everything inside dry, and I didnât have to worry about my gear getting soaked. The overall design is both functional and comfortable, making it perfect for both short hikes and all-day adventures. If youâre planning a trip where mobility and convenience are key, I highly recommend this backpackâitâs dependable and thoughtfully designed for any outdoor enthusiast!

I got this as a replacement for a biking/hiking bag i got from Costco which had its zippers break almost immediately, I ended up throwing that in a public garbage bin during a ride I was so frustrated. Now with this bag, both my wife and I have used it on separate occasions and now she wants one for herself! The rain cover was ideal for her to use during a snowshoeing session and kept all her items dry, and for bike riding this bag is extremely versatile and useful when biking to the gym and holding all my items (towel, extra clothes, wallet, earpods, etc). A worthy buy and now my wife will be purchasing her own!

I’ve used it for a few hiking trips so far and it’s great. It has a pretty small capacity, but I can manage to fit my water bladder, a lunch, some first aid supplies, and a scarf or extra layer in it. Solid quality considering the price. It’s also the only backpack of its size I could find that actually fit my shoulders comfortably and had well placed chest/waist straps.

Great back pack. Seems to be very good quality.. perfect size for biking.. can fit aprox. 6 500ml water bottles or a sweater but not big enough for both.. maybe 2 drinks and a sweater will fit.. bladder set up works well!
