When I received the box I was laughing because the box was so small. But it works out prefect do to having a small treatment room. Offering a herbal facial to my clients was excellent what I wanted. The steam is medium flow not over powering, which is best for clients health. Love this little guy!

This little steamer quickly puts out a consistent stream of steam with no sputtering like other units I’ve tried. In that regard, I like it very much. After the water ran out, I heard a click and the light on the power switch turned off. I assumed that was automatic shut off so it didn’t boil dry and was impressed. I left the unit plugged in and went about the rest of my facial routine. When I came back to it, it was quite hot, although it looked like it was off. My counter was very warm underneath it. Works well, just make sure you unplug it after use!

Great compact facial steamer
This YOKYAK facial steamer is a compact tabletop model. Despite its compact size, it does come with a detachable rotatable sprayer with rotating arm and 360 degree spray head. It took a few short minutes for the water to heat up. The steamer puts out very fine mist without large droplets so it’s very comfortable. The unit also does herbal steam (I used green tea bags) and essence oil. The one thing I wish differently was that the water tank is not removable. So I made a mess when adding water from my gallon distilled water. Also the water tank only holds very little water before it reached the MAX line. So when I added water over the MAX line, there was no easy way to remove the water except bringing the whole unit to the sink. Other than the non-removable water tank, I really like this compact steamer and would recommend it.
