kind of unpleasant taste and smell
My two kids, 8 and 11, have been taking gummy multivitamins since they were toddlers. We typically buy the big box store brand, but decided to give these a try because of their grape flavor.Unfortunately, both of the kids thinks these taste bad and have an unpleasant (too dense and chewy) consistency. There is a sickeningly sweet, acrid smell. So as not to waste, I have gotten them to agree to each take one of these a day and then one of the store brand gummy vitamins. The fact that they are willing to give me that concession tells me these are tolerable, but not preferred.I appreciate the lack of artificial coloring and flavoring. However, these have twice the sugar of the generic gummy vitamins while also having a smaller variety of vitamins and lesser amounts of many. These do have iron, where the generic does not, and that is worthwhile.

Let me start by saying that both of my children are extremely picky eaters, with one having very low Iron levels.
