My mother is in a long term care facility and these plates are the perfect size to take her meals in. The lids stay on well so that you do not have to worry about them coming off while transporting. We were in charge of team meals for my daughters volleyball team and wanted to provide a easy meal to grab and go. These worked well for an 8 inch wrap cut in half,tri color pasta in the smaller port and grapes and strawberries in the other small port. The high school girls enjoyed the meal and said the serving amount (portion size) these containers held, was plenty. Only issue we had was about 10 of the lids out of the 50 were cracked and or busted and not useable. Luckily we didn’t need all of them, so it got us through. I would recommend this purchase as the price allows room to purchase more than needed in the event you do get a few busted tops.
