Helped me track and lower my BP
I don’t really understand the negative reviews on this one. Always works great for me and seems to give very accurate readings that are very close to the numbers I get at doctors offices. Never has any issues syncing and it’s really nice to have all my fitness stats in one place.

Unfortunately I have had to get one of these. I have been part of the Garmin ecosystem and like being able to share the readings with my doctor once a month or so by email. It’s really simple to generate the data file from Garmin Connect and download it and attach it to a communication with my doctor.

Really Disappointed. Inaccurate and inconsistent
I’ve used several different home BP monitors over the past decade. When my most recent one fell victim to a high impact incident with the floor, I jumped at the chance to replace it with the Garmin Index BPM. The chance to add my BP metrics to the collection of vitals in the Garmin ecosystem along with the expectation of quality and reliability convinced me to overlook the premium price point and a few negative reviews about accuracy..Oh how I was disappointed! The clever design of the angled face is annoying in practice. Rather than allowing the cuff to be wrapped around the body for a compact travel package, the angled face means that the cuff is bunchy and loose. The design of other cuffs Iâve used have a serious advantage for portability.But most troubling by far was the accuracy of the BP readings themselves. Multiple back to back readings with no other changes produced wildly different results. The readings would consistently vary by 25-30 points! Inconsistency was the only thing consistent about this cuff. Yes, I have also used the feature for 3 readings to average and yes, Iâm very familiar with the importance of placement position. Comparing side by side readings at the same time with a different BP cuff, the Garmin BPM was all over the place and even the averages of readings were not in line with the other cuff or manual readings (the old school way). My experience unfortunately echoes that of others reviews that have found the BPM to be consistently inaccurate.After a month of trying to make it work, I have returned the unit. I will not buy another, and I would not recommend to others. I would go even further to recommend several alternatives (all of them cheaper) instead.

It seems to work okay for taking blood pressure, but the reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that I have had issues syncing the readings with the Garmin Connect app. I would also say wait for this to go on sale, as the base price is a bit excessive.

Easy To Track Blood Pressure
Set up takes a bit. If you’re trying to do two people it isn’t intuitive… But you can pair 6 people to this so darn good. Seems pretty accurate. Decent value for the money,!!

Think twice before paying top dollar
I have 4 blood pressure devices.Nothing absolutely nothing beats the manual one.That means this one Index BPM, which costs over 150 dollars, is an expensive device that will give wrong readings.Not even mention that it is not rechargeable!!! For 150 bucks!!!The Display is quite low quality and size.I have the one for 60 bucks, the wrist device for 40, and the manual for 25.Even if you change the batteries, make sure you properly use it to get your numbers.My recommendation is to get one, buy brand-new batteries, and check it against the manual one or your nurse one.If the readings are consistently off, it means you properly put it in your arm as the picture and instructions say, go and return it as soon as possible, and get another one until you get the device that actually has no deviation.3 starts because it doesn’t come with a cover. Very pleased with this. Links with Garmin connect on my phone and I have the watch and scales. I use myfitnesspal and it links up too. Very pleased with it as it does 3 readings one minute apart and uses that
