Amazin design
I think this gadget is great. I didn’t have any issues with it being difficult to move or getting pinched that some other reviews have mentioned. Mine works exactly as shown in the video. I’m fascinated with the design. Another reviewer suggested it gets boring. Well, it’s a fidget toy, so it does the same thing over and over. However, with this one, just figuring out how it works is really fun.

Interesting, colorful manipulative for all ages
Nice design and build. Rather tight at first but gets looser with manipulation. A very interesting shape, texture and design. Interesting irredentist colors add to the attraction. I was given one and immediately bought more as gifts for others. Sometimes you need a mindless manipulative to busy the hands while working things out in your head. Fun for all ages.

This is a very cool product. I bought it for my 6 year old grandson because he is keenly interested in constructing things. He loved it. He’s not a wild child, but the sphere didn’t last a week. One of the tabs that fit into the core broke off. I wonder if this product could be made with slightly less rigid material?

Okay as a very simple fidget
I got two of these for my play therapy waiting area. They are okay. They only roll from a ball to a flower to a ball. That’s it. Some of my kiddos will like the simplicity. Many of my kiddos and I, personally, prefer something like the Shashibo that creates different shapes and offers some challenge as well as simple motion. I am aware that they can fall apart although mine has not. Because of that, I set the age range at six and above.

I got this as a stocking stuffer for my 6 yr old grandson. He could easily manipulate it and had it spinning in no time flat. The action is very smooth. It is very well constructed and is sturdy. He loves the colors!

Difficult to move finger pincher
This product looks great in pictures. The one I received was difficult to move. There was no fluid movement as shown in the videos. It also states that it is safe. Even though I was careful, I was pinched 3x during the two minutes I tried to get it to work. Cool concept, but worthless product.

I was intrigued by this gear ball being unsure what it was and what it did. There was not a lot of explanation or description of the object but there was a video. The video not only suggested you could fiddle with it and manipulate it into different shapes but you could also pull it apart into its individual pieces. In terms of manipulating it , I must confess I did get some satisfaction turning the pieces and watching the cogs fit into place and as a fiddle toy it works well. I can imagine children being fascinated by it. I also tried pulling it apart . This was difficult to do and some pieces were left with the attachment pin in and others left the attachment pin in the inner ball. I was not sure if I was supposed to pull it apart so I only pulled three pieces apart . They did go back in easy enough but I would imagine there would be quite a lot of stress placed on the inner peg.The gear ball was made of slightly ridged acrylic and caught the light in places making it look metallic. I also think this may be a five minute wonder and then thrown in a box never to be looked at again.

Whoever originally came up with this design is a very talented engineer. Ball arrived in a bubble wrap bag in a cardboard box, it is roughly the size of a cricket ball, lightweight but seems fairly well made, gears turn smoothly and mesh accurately with each other. Price is very competitive conpared to others on sale.

I keep seeing ads for these pop up and thought they looked so cool, so very pleased to be able to try one. It definitely held my attention for a while and I can see how itâs suitable for all ages, kids and adults. Very entertaining! The colours are vibrant, I got the rose gold one and itâs a lovely colour. Itâs quite addictive and ingenious how it works. The build quality could be better. Overall I really like it and recommend it.

This is great fun to play with and manipulate. The action on it is smooth and it’s fun to watch it go through the different shapes from a sort of open flower shape to an almost circle. It’s tactile and pleasing, just be careful you don’t get your fingers in the way of the cogs, they can pinch a little!I love the colour on it too as it shifts from orange to a pinky red to gold. This is a great ‘fidget toy’, but it is definitely a two handed one as it’s difficult to successfully manipulate it with one hand.
