Customers say
Customers find the thermometer works well and is simple to use, providing quick temperature readings of meat. They appreciate its low cost. The accuracy and quality receive mixed feedback – while some say it comes calibrated, others find it inaccurate, and while some consider it good quality, others describe it as terrible. The size and readability are concerns, with one customer noting the face is too small and several mentioning it’s hard to read.

Quick Read Speed. Seems Accurate in terms of post cook assessment of the meat.
As described. It’s responsive in terms of “read speed”Gives you the temperature of the meat quickly. That said, it’s obviously not as “instance” as the expensive digital ones, but it definitely serves the purpose. I’ve had no issues on my BBQ using these to ascertain when the meat should be taken off the grill.

Works well. A good quality
Works well. Good quality and price. It is a little small to see especially in high heat settings like on a grill.

Save Your Money
I purchased one of these as our finicky electronic thermometer had stopped working and I thought one that did not have electronics might be a good alternative. According to the directions, this thermometer can be calibrated although it allegedly is accurate when shipped. Well, I used it and it read lower than some other ones we have, and when I went to calibrate it in a bowl of ice with just a little water as the directions said to do, the thermometer read 20 degrees fahrenheit, and no matter which way I turned the calibration nut the reading never changed. I finally threw the thermometer away in disgust. For the price it is not worth returning. Spend your money elsewhere.

Easy to use
I had one of these previously and liked that it was a simple, no frills, easy read thermometer so when I needed to replace it I bought the same one. And I found the original one I had bought so now I have 2!
