I really wanted to like this however…The straps and buckles are very cheap, the product material itself is okay(definitely not worth over $40)I could make this work but it’s finicky to get level and not very effective in and for that much money, I’d rather cut some plywood ð

You will need to secure the strap on ea seat otherwise there is no support. I like how easy this sets up and is foldable when not needed. Works comes with a bag, easy to setup and take down, feels good. It is a bit narrow on the model Y, so there is about a 6 in gap total between the side doors, 3 in ea side. I have this installed in a model Y for reference.What I donât like could be a bit wider for the model Y.Overall 4.4 stars taking into consideration the products description, quality, features, value and cost of 69.99, and there was a discount that further brought the price down.

Flimsy
I loved the concept of this product and was hoping it would provide the solution that I needed, but unfortunately, it does not form a solid platform in between the captain seats of my Lincoln Navigator. It was wide enough to cover the space from door to door, but it is very flimsy, and the platform sinks down in the middle, even when tightened properly. I returned it and am using a simple piece of particle board that I cut to the dimensions that I need, and it’s working wonderfully. I saved myself the $44 that this product cost. It’s definitely not worth that price.

I wish I got something like this a lot sooner. The dog has always hated traveling in the car, he never relaxes. He is much calmer lying on the extender because it gives him more space and a flatter surface. What a game changer. The day I put it in I had a two hour drive south and he was relaxed and quiet the entire journey, so amazing. This is worth every penny, highly recommend.
