Great Value!
This Electric Portable Water Filter pleasantly surprised me!! It’s compact, easy to carry in the carrying case, light weight, and the filtration system works wonders. The water is very clean and safe to drink even from the dirtiest waters! It has a great taste. It’s easy to use and provides a few extra filters too. There are so many ways to charge it which makes it so versatile. The added emergency light is a fantastic bonus! Highly recommend!!

Overall it’s handy, a good prep, but filterer vs purifying
I grabbed this because overall it seemed just right for our prep and Go Bags. We live in the PNW and have to be prepared for forest fires around our farm. I like how many different bits we’re getting in this one device. Water filter, flashlight, and even a backup charger option for our devices.Weight wise for our situation it’s fine I don’t think it’s light enough for most backpacking where weight tends to be crucial, but for any type of normal camping this is fine. As a prep/go bag situation it’s perfectly okay.Charging it has a few options, plugged in is the best of course, the solar isn’t bad and will work away from home, & the hand crank does provide power but you’re never going use the option outside of the most dire situations but it does function. My only issue is they call this a water purifier, it’s a water filter. It does a great job of filtration so far it seems but it’s not the same as purification when it comes down to it. They list low res picture showing certifications but no way to actually see it in detail. They list some numbers but I can’t look up those. I even checked their website and on their website they don’t list any of the certifications that are mentioned here. I did check with our testing we use on the well & etc and it came out fine but I’m not a lab. I’d still use it in an emergency.Price wise it’s listing at around 150$ but as I’m submitting this there is a 70$ coupon on it so… I would be way more comfortable spending 80$ than I would 150$. Take that as you will.

Long purification time, safe for drinking, portable!
Honestly, I couldn’t believe it. It’s got features that I haven’t seen in any other product out there. Lately, I’ve been doing some temp work and managed to save up a bit to splurge on outdoor gear like water purifiers. After much deliberation and tired eyes from scanning options, my wife chimed in with some suggestions. She’s all about water quality and convenience, so I put this filter through a two-day test. It held up, filtering water for a solid 5 hours. The water quality check passed with flying colorsâit’s safe to drink, and I didn’t fall ill. and also the power generation. Plus, the compact handbag it comes in makes it a breeze to carry around. That’s why I ended up going with this one in the end.

Super convenient and easy to use!
This compact water filtration system is great! Super compact and comes in a nice sturdy case to pack away! With the solar charging system, you donât ever have to worry about not having a charge, and if worst case, you can manually crank it as well! Having a led battery usage is nice touch also! The light is super bright and can always be handy! Itâs better to have and not need than to need and not have! For the price, ya just canât beat it! Highly reccomend!

Cartridge filtering capacity over 264 gal with power generation functions
I’m a total newbie when it comes to outdoor adventures, gearing up with survival tools for some family camping. I stumbled upon this Greeshow brand electric water purifier, not knowing much at first. Their ads kept popping up, bragging about generating electricity. I thought, ‘Hey, that’s exactly what I need!’ My phone and mini colored lights die out quickly, and I’ve been dying for a way to charge them up using solar or hand-cranked power. And guess what? It actually works! Sure, it takes a bit of time to charge through solar or hand-cranked power, but I figure having a higher chance of survival in an emergency makes it totally worth buying this electric water purifier. From my little test, the replaceable filter cartridge can handle over 264 gallons, but I’m not exactly sure about the filtration machine’s capacity. It claims this camping water purifier can filter up to 30,000 L (7925 gallons). I’ll have to give it a real test run while camping to see how it holds up.

Great for camping or emergencies
This is a solid solution for water filtering, but I’d still boil afterwards just to make it safer; as it doesn’t purify. It comes with a nice case for travel, and it holds a decent charge as well. Overall a solid survival solution or camping accessory.

Portable and Efficient
Great buy! I go hiking often and Iâve been researching a portable filter for quite some time. Iâm pleased with my decision to purchase this one! Itâs lightweight, quiet and convenient to use. I really like that it can be charged so many different ways. There is basically no way to get stranded without a charge, which is an amazing feature for camping and hiking. Definitely would recommend!

This is a great water purification device, it has genuine bona fides , extensive 3rd party testing of its ability to filter out any contaminants, organic and inorganic. There are many water purification devices on the market and this is at the top level of purification. The first thing I noticed is that its well built and solidly constructed, its built for camping. The membrane filters are good for 1000 liters which I a large amount, the replacement filter is $20. I bought an extra filter just to have on hand for the future. It has a built in rechargeable battery, it can be charged by the solar panel on the side, crank and USB cable. The crank is what sold me, its solid and not likely to break, its an essential on long trips or an emergency. The solar panel is small and under powered, I would not expect to charge this device from zero just using the solar panel. There are a few nice extra features with this device, it has a built in flashlight, blinking SOS light plus you can used the charged battery to charge your devices. This is a great device to have when camping or in an emergency. In Ontario (and probably the rest of canada) the biggest issue when using lake/pond water is Giardia (also known as beaver fever) it can be found in almost every body of water, its extensive. This is must if you need to drink lake water.

I’ve recently put the Greeshow Electric Portable Water Filter through its paces during my camping trip, and I must say, it’s been quite an experience. Here’s my detailed take on this versatile device. The first thing I noticed about this water filter was its compact design. It’s lightweight and fits snugly in the included carrying case, making it easy to throw into my backpack. The multiple charging optionsâsolar, hand crank, and USBâare a huge plus. I found that the solar panel works decently well, though it does take a while to charge the device fully. The hand crank, while effective, requires a bit of effort and feels somewhat flimsy, which has me concerned about its long-term durability.Setting up and using the filter was straightforward. A single button operation made it simple, even for a newbie like me. I tried it out on some stream water, and within minutes, I had crystal-clear water. The flashlight and SOS mode were lifesavers when the sun went down, and it was great to have a power source to charge my phone when needed. The filtration system did its job well. The water tasted clean, and I didnât experience any digestive issues, which is always a good sign. The filter is advertised to handle up to 30,000 liters, though Iâve only tested it with a few gallons so far. One drawback I noticed was the high price for what is essentially a filter, not a purifier. The distinction is importantâpurification usually involves additional processes like reverse osmosis, which this device does not offer.I appreciated the added features, especially the emergency SOS light. It’s a thoughtful addition that could be crucial in survival situations. The device also doubles as a power bank, which could be a lifesaver if youâre stuck without access to power. However, I was a bit skeptical about the long-term reliability of these features, particularly when the device is running low on charge. The build quality seems decent, but Iâm wary of the hand crank and the intake hose, which feel a bit flimsy. The device does come with a reverse flush option to clean the filter, which is useful. Iâm just a little concerned about the availability of replacement filters, as finding them might be a challenge.Overall, this Electric Portable Water Filter is a solid investment for those who enjoy outdoor adventures or want a reliable emergency water source. Its compact size, multiple charging options, and additional features like the SOS light and phone charging make it a handy tool. However, the price point and the fact that itâs not a true purifier (but just a filter) might make some think twice. Despite these concerns, it has proven to be a valuable addition to my outdoor gear. If youâre looking for a versatile and portable solution for clean water, this filter is definitely worth considering.

These days, a lot of people, my spouse included, have become amateur preppers. I mean prepper in the sense of being prepared for any emergency. I guess that’s a lesson learned with the pandemic. We also live in a hurricane zone so being prepared is something that we should all be, at all times. I ordered this water filter system for my spouse for their emergency bin.I didn’t really read up on this product before I ordered it. I have to confess that. But it turns out that wasn’t a bad thing because when it got here and I was able to check it out, it was like Christmas. This filter system is pretty wonderful. It’s small, it has a case so you can throw it in a backpack, and it’s overall really neat. I love a lot of things about it but mostly I love the various options for charging. The last big hurricane we had there were power outages here for up to 2 weeks so anything solar is brilliant. The filters seems to be pretty straightforward to use although I did have to read the instructions. Once you get it figured out though, it’s great. They give you everything you need and it’s ready right out of the box.The big question, does it work? The answer is in an emergency situation something is probably better than nothing. I can’t say for certain without doing water tests that this filter will make water 100% safe to drink, however, as I said, something is better than nothing. If it came down to a situation where we had to use this, I would probably still boil the water, unless we were in a natural wilderness area.I’m giving this filter five stars because I think it’s a wonderful tool to help put your mind at ease.

Pros:- I’m no expert and I haven’t tested the water with any kind of lab, but in my subjective opinion the water that comes out of the filter tastes pretty good. I tried it on my lake water which is normally a bit gross, and it came out tasting just fine.- I appreciate the extra power-related features, specifically the small solar panel and the hand-crank option. You never want to run out of power when you need it to drink, so it gives me peace of mind that I can always power it manually in an emergency.- The device is surprisingly compact and lightweight given the features it has, making it great for hiking where every ounce of carried weight matters.- It comes with a nice protective carrying case that holds the pump, tubes, and charging cable. Everything you need.Cons:- I feel like the solar panel is too small to make a huge difference. It will keep the device topped up if you leave it in the sun, so it’s not subject to passive discharging, but it’s not strong enough to charge the device from dead.Current title: Electric Portable Water Filter Camping – High Precision Water Purifier System with Solar/Hand-Crank/USB Charging, Emergency Light for Camping Backpacking Hiking Travel Outdoor, Phone Charger, GS-2811My rating system: 5 stars = performs as expected, 4 stars = small flaws, 3 stars = major flaws, 2 stars = barely usable, 1 star = trash

I have another camping water filter that works like this one that is USB rechargeable. The trouble is there were a few times last year when the power died way too soon. So I thought this one may be a bit better seeing as it is solar and hand cranking rechargeable. These methods take a bit of time to get a good charge. However, worst case scenario is you have to wait a few hours. Sure I have a battery bank, but that gets run down by other things. So this with the three charging methods lets you keep going. It does a good job of pumping and filtering water from the stream, etc. It is super easy to back flush to clean it all out and it seems the filter will last a long time. That is as long as you are not finding the dirtiest streams. Turns out so far I havenât had to worry about the battery issues with this one as it does last a long time. Charging it updoesnât take much juice from your battery bank either. It comes with a nice carrying case that is sturdy and small. With it being lightweight you wonât even notice it is in your back pack. For the price and the amount you can filter at one time I think this is a great buy. I know if I should lose this I wonât hesitate getting another one from this company.
