Love Love Love!
Great hostess, housewarming or Christmas gift. All of her recipes are great and easy to follow! She also always has a video of the recipe on her TikTok which is nice if I have questions. Her recipes are different from traditional cookbooks and offer a little something different to your table!

Best cookbook
I love this cookbook and all of the balanced meals that are offered. I usually try to pick 2-3 new recipes to try each month and this book has everything from appetizers to breakfast to dinner and dessert. My favorite is how she writes personal anecdotes for each recipe

I love Half Baked Harvest!
I have been following Tieghan on Instagram for a few years. I heard of her after being sent her recipes by friends on multiple occasions. Iâve made several of her dishes and some I have on repeat in my kitchen. My husband loves when I cook one of her specialties! They are so good and comforting. I love her flavors and combination of meat and vegetarian recipes. There is a good mix of dishes, some rather simple and some complex or time consuming which is awesome since Iâm human and donât always want to cook and sometimes I want to go all out. Some of the recipes are brand new and others variations of what Iâve seen on her site. I appreciate this because sometimes itâs a bit deflating when you get a new cookbook and zero recipes peak your interest or just seem too out there or complicated to start. Having a handful of her classic Half Baked Harvest dishes with a twist on these beautiful pages makes all the difference. It just hits different cooking dinner with a beautiful book and inspiring image on your countertop rather than on your tiny iPhone that you have to unlock every 10 seconds with dirty hands because the screen just has to go black when youâre mid cooking haha. Tieghan is also a beautiful photographer (and videographer!!) and food stylist so this cookbook will not disappoint with its delicious recipes and beautifully inspiring accompanying images!!

Excellent meal ideas
Excellent dinner/brunch/lunch ideas, some appetizer, soup and dessert options as well. The only minus would be the high calories of the dishes which did not correlate with the title of the cookbook âfeel good mealsâ. Overall highly recommend to extend your home cooking to new horizons

Better than other cookbooks of hers
So she has four books out now. A few years ago, I chose not to get the first one, just didn’t like what I saw in the preview. So I got the second one. I did not care for it once I got it. With a subtitle including the term “Simple”, I did not find the recipes simple at all. And did not like the book. But I liked the apparent sophistication of the recipes with the pics, and I really wanted to try something of hers that would actually be simple and fairly quick. So, more recently, I looked up her three other books. I did not like what I saw in the newest one. Supposedly “quick”, the dishes just did not appeal to me. So I ordered the third one. I have not been disappointed. I have not made any of the recipes yet, but I have marked a good number of the recipes to try.A few things that others are saying: “Repeats other recipes”.. Mmm some, but then only slightly slipping in some other ingredient, but she switched out other ingredients as well. I did not see a lot of overlap with the 2nd and 3rd books. Perhaps she just made some of the recipes more simple? But overall, I didn’t see this all that much.”Too many photos of herself – as many as 27″… Again, didn’t really see that all too much. No more than any other “celebrity” cook. There are, indeed, only 12 photos of her, and these are almost all on the (chapter) title pages. It seems more like an agent/marketing/publisher decision than her own, per se. For comparison, I have a Jamie Oliver cookbook that has 17 pics of himself in it. So, no big deal to me. I don’t see it as an issue at all. Now, it seems like she overcomplicates some things.. like using several pans when she need only remove something as simple as grilled onions, to a plate, and use the same pan for whatever comes next. I also find it strange that she has bread recipes and several things – from scratch – yet, calls for “canned tomatoes” in many of the dishes. Why? Why would I use canned tomatoes when I can use fresh tomatoes? I don’t care if it’s for the “juice” even, that’s just GROSS! Every single recipe calls for “Pink Himalayan salt”, again, why? I’m sure if someone wanted to use it, that they would. They don’t need her to specify PHS for them. It doesn’t matter if they use table salt, Redmond salt or Himalayan. Just put… “salt”. We get it. We have a choice, stop pushing it. (I have, and use PHS, by the way. I just think it’s stupid to specify it’s use for no reason other than that’s what she prefers). It’s almost like she’s trying to create healthy recipes. But there really is nothing healthy (or very little), in this book.Overall though, I like a lot of the recipes. Despite all the weirdness.

Pictures accompanying pretty much every recipe. Everything looks delicious and cooked the first recipe from here last night which didn’t disappoint. Love how the book structured with meal suggestions but then also main food category (chicken, beef, vegetarian,, fish etc)
