Perfect for a little more space
I’m a 6 foot guy who wanted a little more real estate in a yoga mat. This works great! The new “smell” went away after a week or so. (I rinsed it off in the shower a couple of times and that really helped.) I keep it rolled up with a carry strap and it rolls up pretty tight but not too tight to impart a curl. It lays flat when I go to class so I really appreciate that. (I see lots of folks struggle with their mats curling up and I like that I don’t have to mess with this.) It is light and the strap keeps it handy. The mat has a top and bottom which grip really solid to both the floor and to your feet/hands. Time will tell on durability as I’ve had this for only 3 weeks now but it feels like really good quality so I’m very happy with the purchase.

I like the feel of this mat, and the color is wonderful! My sweaty hands do slip (slowly) – but I donât blame the mat for that lol. It comes with straps for transport. It seems durable enough for me (no pets or children). I recommend!

Good quality mat.
It has cushion for support and has excellent grip. It doesn’t move and you don’t slide. It’s a good size, larger than my previous mat and I like the markings. They are great for reference for many positions. I appreciate the included strap and carry strap but I use the mat at home and probably won’t use it. It’s good to have in case I do join an outside group.

Great Yoga Mat Overall
It’s a great size. I’m 5’6″ and some other yoga mats felt too short where my arms or feet would hang off the end when fully stretched out. I do not have that issue with this mat. There is a slight plastic odor when it is first out of the box but it aired out quickly during one use. The girp on top and bottom of the mat are great (no sliding). The guide lines are also really nice to make sure I’m centered and aligned properly. The thickness is good for a standard mat, but l usually add another thicker mat for just under my knees. The string to carry it is like a shoe lace which is odd but honestly works really well and is light. Overall, I’m very happy with this is yoga mat!

Good density while being very light
Great so far! The density of the mat is great. On my old mat (also 1/4 inch) my knees hurt in certain poses. Not with this mat! Yes it does have a bit of a smell initially but that didn’t bother me and now that I’ve washed it, it’s fine. It’s very lightweight and the carry string seems like an odd choice but actually works really well.

Too Cute but Too Slippery
PROS: I got the pink and blue color, which looks great in person. I leave my mat out 24/7 in my apartment, and I don’t mind since it’s so cute. It’s also the perfect thickness, length, and width; a bit bigger than normal mats, but not so big that it looks silly. Rolls up nice and easy, and super light weight. Fairly easy to clean too, even if you wait a couple hours to do a good wipe down after a sweaty session.CONS: Too slippery. While the mat stays in place on the floor, I do NOT stay in place on the mat. Even when I’m not sweating, the grip is bad in positions where you’re at an angle: hands and feet in down dog, feet in side planks, etc. It fairs much worse in hot yoga. It’s actually embarrassing how much I slide out of 3-legged down dog.Overall: I’ll keep this mat for gym exercises, but I’ll be trying the Manduka X for yoga next.

I wanted to treat myself to a new yoga mat as I’ve increased my practice and my mat is leaving bits behind everywhere I go.This mat has far superior grip than my old ‘sticky’ mat, being 6mm it is super spongy so I no longer double up.The markings are a great help for self alignment, bringing awareness to your practice.This mat is also stated as eco friendly which is always a good thing.I purchased the turquoise colour which is nice and vibrant, was a tough call as I like all the others too.I hope it wears well.***Edit**I have used this at three different classes now; wood, tile and painted floors and it is super grippy and spongy on all.I haven’t yet tried folding it over for inversions, we’ll have to see if it stays, as it likes being out flat since it’s so thick.
