I don’t love the app for this BP monitor. I had a little trouble with the initial setup because I have a small screen phone (iPhone SE) and when you have to pick which memory slot to use, my screen wasn’t quite long enough to properly show the choices. I could see the edge of the spot I needed to select, so I did manage to tap it and finish my set up.I didn’t find the app to be very intuitive. There’s no “record my blood pressure now” button or anything like that, so I figured it just communicates with the device and as long as you have the app open, it’ll automatically record your result. But when it didn’t, I realized you have to click on your BP device in the app and then wait for it to say it’s connected via bluetooth. THEN it’ll record your BP.Of course, you don’t even need to use the app if you don’t want — you can just use this like a regular stand-alone BP monitor. But I think the app is what you’re paying extra for with this because there are cheaper BP monitors out there that don’t have an accompanying app.As far as the device itself goes, I’m also underwhelmed. The screen is large, bright and easy to read, but I find the lime green color of the illumination kind of unpleasant on the eyes (it’s much brighter in reality than it looks in my photos). There’s a port on the side for a DC power adapter, but it doesn’t come with one. It does come with 4 AA batteries for it, though.The cuff is a little wide for the metal loop it slides through, so it crinkles at the edge and the stitching of the velcro doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. It just isn’t as nice or as comfortable other cuffs I’ve used. This cuff feels cheaply made.In short, this BP monitor does what you’re buying it for: it reads your blood pressure (and pulse). I think there are nicer choices out there, though, especially at this price.

Love the app that goes with it so I bought other devices from the same company so I can have all my health in one location
