    The sauce!
This girl named herself appropriately! The book is like a snack in your kitchen. Quick, easy and more than worth keeping close by! It’s a powerful tool to ward off hunger and satisfying in every way.I love her content online and this book is as beautiful as it is delicious. The last book I loved so much was Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone. This has a more modern spin with the same technique driven lessons in the recipes but with gorgeous pictures. All the thanks for these publishers realizing we’re over the over saturated TV personalities and entertainers. Let’s eat good and healthy food! Thank you for spending the time to teach me wonderful opportunities with vegetables and ancient grains. You were the one to teach me crispy quinoa and it changed my world at a time when I was struggling to transition from a meat based diet. Thank you!!!! Oh and get the book. It will change how you buy groceries and bring you incredible health and healing.

    A Modern Classic
There’s a lot to be wary of in the influencer cookbook world—it seems like people with an audience are churning out book after book these days. This is not one of those books.Does Justine Doiron have a big social audience? Yes, deservedly so. Are her recipes unique, thoughtful, creative, and ready to become a new staple for audiences? Absolutely. The time, thought, and care put into this book is abundantly clear, and the recipes themselves are STUNNING. I’ve made a number of them and they taste both delicious and unlike anything else I’ve tasted before—it’s almost like Doiron has taken the flavors of a delicious restaurant and made them quickly and easily accessible for novice home cooks.Standouts so far include: the shimmery, peppery hot sauce (the whole sauce section is 10/10), the brown butter tahini pasta, and the black pepper chai brownies. I can’t wait to cook through the rest!

A cookbook that feels like a crisp autumn morning
I’ve followed Justine Doiron on socials for a while now, and she’s truly revolutionized veggie cooking for me. Her recipes are approachable, super customizable, and aren’t full of needless steps or too many ingredients. I received my pre-order literally the day after release and am preparing to cook at least 2 of the recipes over the weekend! Love the photos, storytelling aspect, and message of this book. She writes in a fun style that’s full of life and humor and authenticity, it’s almost like Justine herself is sitting in your kitchen discussing what on earth you’re going to do with all your impulse-purchased farmer’s market produce! It’ll for sure be a fave on your cookbook shelf! 💚

The most important cookbook in my kitchen!
This cookbook is truly a dream come true! Since it arrived in the mail, I’ve been making two or three recipes every day, and every single one has made it to my favorites list. The recipes are incredibly inventive, transforming everyday ingredients into culinary masterpieces, and they’ve reignited my passion for cooking. I appreciate the concise ingredient lists and straightforward techniques, making it easy to whip up delicious meals. What I love most about this cookbook is its inclusion of recipes for sauces, crumbles, dips, and other delightful elements that elevate dishes I already love to make—perfect for adding a little flair! It feels like my kitchen has become the finest dining establishment in town! I’ve recommended this book to everyone I know!

    Beautiful Book
I purchased this cookbook for my mother for this upcoming Christmas. After seeing all of Justine’s cooking videos, I knew it was going to be a wonderful cookbook. The best part of this book is the mostly plant based recipes, and give you ample room to add any kind of meats or proteins you desire. The pictures are crisp, there is a sizable amount of content and recipes… did I mention how beautiful it was??I gave it to my mother early, and she adored it. It is the perfect gift, and a wonderful addition to any cook book collection. It is absolutely display worthy, I would recommend this cookbook to anyone and everyone.

    Fantastic Plant Cook Book!
Justine’s recipes are not only delicious but they’re well thought out too. I love that the cook book is lay-flat and it’s easy to read. It’s well organized and the pictures are great. The tables and explanations throughout the book are also very helpful. It’s beginner friendly and overall a very cozy, snacky, heartwarming book of yumminess. 10/10 recommend. I also recommend following her YouTube for cook throughs of the recipes!

I want to make everything in this book
Such an inspiring book of recipes (with beautiful photos!). Made with ingredients found in my pantry, but put together in creative ways I wouldn’t have thought of. Works great on Kindle, but I will probably add the hard copy to my cookbook shelf.
