Good value, no battery needed, not most precise
These thermometers may vary by 2-3 degrees Fahrenheit from each other and from my glass-tube devices when several are placed in the same spot, but itâs close enough to get the idea. I do NOT recommend trying to adjust or recalibrate themâeven if you have a tiny screwdriver that fits, it takes extreme precision and you might ruin it like I did.The hygrometer measurements seem to be very close and agree with other devices.They support a pretty good temperature range and I have one in my refrigerator, one in my freezer, one in front of the A/C vent and one just outside the window. I dropped one and it fell apart, but the construction is such that you can pop the parts back together and it will be fine.If there was one improvement or wish I had, it would be a sturdier stand. The leg mostly stays in place when the item is set on a flat surface, but sometimes it will slip and the item will collapse flat.

1000% junk. Off by almost 15 degrees
One or two defective, I could live with. But 6? Bought a pak of 6, on the low end when the temp is 65, they are reading 70. On the high end, when it 108 degrees, they are reading 92. These are junk. I’ll wasting my valuable time returning these

Such a handy item
The director of maintenance swore our building’s HVAC was running perfectly. I put these in several key locations of highest complaints & was able to show that, in fact, it was not. They’re not lab grade accurate, but being able to show an idiot that it IS 75% humidity in the hallway & the bathroom is 81 degrees is rather satisfying, I must admit. I bought the ones without batteries, so one less thing to worry about.

Inconspicuous Accuracy
Many of my co-workers complain of the building we work in being either too cold or too hot. In fact, the building is a constant 70F. I have placed these little bad boys all around our 2 floors and theyâre always handy to show that the building is NORMAL!! Great product!!
