The Kitchen in the Box Blender is hands down one of the best investments I’ve made for my kitchen. Right off the bat, the 1450W motor and 2HP make it clear that it can handle whatever you throw at it, from smoothies to ice crushing and even milkshakes. It’s a beast when it comes to blending, and I was genuinely impressed by how easily it can break down frozen fruit and ice cubes. Iâve had many blenders before, but none come close to how smooth and creamy it makes everything â smoothies, soups, and even nut butters. Itâs also very quiet compared to other high-performance blenders Iâve used, which is a big plus for me because I donât want to wake up the entire house when I make my morning smoothie. The large 68 oz capacity is perfect for my family; I can easily make enough for everyone without having to blend multiple batches. Plus, the BPA-free feature gives me peace of mind since Iâm using it for food prep regularly. One of the things I really appreciate about it is the control panel. The settings are very intuitive, with buttons for specific functions like ice crush, smoothie, and pulse. Iâve used it for a couple of months now, and Iâve yet to encounter any issues with the settings or performance. The design is sleek, and the black finish looks modern and fits well in my kitchen. Cleanup is surprisingly easy as well. I was initially worried about the blades and how they would be difficult to clean, but the design of it makes it easy to rinse off, and the container can be quickly washed either by hand or in the dishwasher. However, thereâs a small downside â the blender is a bit bulky. It takes up more space on the counter than I initially thought it would, so if you have a small kitchen, this might be something to consider. But to be fair, considering how powerful it is, the size is really not a big deal. Another thing to note is that it can get a little bit hot when running for a longer period, especially if youâre making large quantities. But I havenât had any issues with overheating or the motor malfunctioning, and it doesnât seem to affect the taste or texture of what Iâm blending. Iâve also noticed that itâs perfect for making creamy milkshakes â it blends ice cream, milk, and any add-ins seamlessly. It doesnât take much time to whip up a shake thatâs smooth and thick, which is exactly what I was looking for. My family loves it for making smoothies every day, and itâs also great for doing more intense tasks like chopping up veggies or making dough. I also used it to make a couple of salsa batches, and I was impressed with how well it processed everything without leaving chunks behind. The only real downside is that the lid doesnât always stay secure when youâre blending large quantities. Sometimes, if youâre not careful, it can pop off, making a mess, so I do recommend keeping an eye on it. But other than that, Iâd say that this blender is more than worth the money. For anyone looking for a professional-grade, easy-to-use blender that can do it all, this is it. Just make sure you have enough counter space because itâs quite a sizable appliance!

Powerful, Easy-to-Use Blender with One Small Flaw
This blender works very nicely and creates great results across smoothies, sauces, and more. I havenât personally tried making soup in it, but other reviewers have, and it seems capable. One of my favorite features is the built-in cord storageâit keeps things neat and out of the way.My only real issue is that the blender jar doesnât securely lock into the base. It just sits on top, so it could potentially be knocked over if youâre not careful. Itâs not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.That aside, itâs a well-made, user-friendly alternative to more expensive blenders. Iâd definitely recommend it for everyday kitchen use.Quick Summary (for shorter posting):Works great for smoothies, sauces, and more. Love the cord storage. Just note that the jar doesnât lock into placeâit rests on top. Still a solid and affordable option overall.

This thing has some power
There are always two main questions I have when deciding on a blender. The first is, does it crush ice? If a blender can crush ice then I know it’ll handle anything I’d throw in it. The second is how easy is it to clean? Do I have to take the blade, seal etc. off? Can it go in the dishwasher? To answer the first question I tossed in some ice cubes. I have two sizes mini (roughly 1 in. cubes) and standard. I tried the mini cubes first (cubes in white ice tray, see pictures) these gave a great shaved ice consistency. This is the reason I bought the mini cube trays years ago, who doesn’t love a good snow cone in the summer. The standard cubes, didn’t do so well. They were a bit chunky, but you could let them set out for a few minutes before blending or add a bit of water (or other liquid) to get the right consistency. I wouldn’t use the watery cubes for shaved ice, but this gives me an idea of what size frozen fruits and veggies the blender can handle dry and which need a bit a liquid.Next I decided to blend some apples. I wanted to know if the seeds and peel would get well blended, or if I’d have to plan to do more prep by coring the apples or removing seeds from them and other fresh fruits and veggies. I first tried quartering the apples, but they weren’t small enough to get down to the blades, so I cut them into 8ths. Viola, smooth and tasty apple sauce, with all the nutrients of the seeds and peel included. Friggin’ delicious I hate canned apple sauce! After eating the apple sauce it was time to clean this beast. I simply ran the canister under some hot water to remove most of the apple bits. Then added a tiny bit of dish detergent with hot water and set it back on the blender and used the pulse switch to run it. I gave it a through rinse under hot water and it was clean. Note: the instructions say it isn’t dishwasher safe. I used a disinfecting wipe to clean the base, then followed that with a damp towel to remove any residue.By the way, I only used the very lowest setting for the ice tests and only up to medium for the applesauce so this thing has some power.
