I was in the cusp of getting SAD a few weeks ago. We live in a very dark part of the country especially in winter. I was so scared that it was too late… until I started using this. Within a few days of turning it on at breakfast until dinner time, I noticed a marked different in my mood and energy levels. While I still get some seasonal swings throughout the day, it has been significantly better than last year (without the lamp!!). The buttons are pretty touchy and somewhat of a pain to control. But overall I am very pleased with this product, the colorations, dimming capabilities and appearance. Counting down until Summer!!!!

works great, real bright, but has a short battery life
bought this for my girl. it works great, its real bright. only thing wrong with it is that the battery really doesnt last long, so she has to charge it often. but overall its nice. has adjustable height and can tilt. a little bulky to use to travel, but im sure it can be done. i saw a review on here that someone had issues with the little mirror sticking, and at first i did too but realized theres a film on the back that needs to pull off to expose the rubber to grip, also it can only stick to the center of the big mirror where the magnet is. so just look over it carefully and make sure you peeled off all the films, theres a lot. id say its a solid 8/10 overall especially for the price, i mean look at some of these other mirrors prices. it serves its purpose well and has a nice bright light, only thing is the battery could be a little bigger

I previously purchased a 10x mirror. I don’t know who or how anyone sees in those. This is perfect and also super cute! Magnifies the right amount and light enhances what you can see.

This review, dated February 5, 2023, is for the Lastar Multi-Function Cosmetic Mirror Lamp CM009, which is the mirror I purchased).Quite pleased with this mirror! It looks lovely – bright white with rose gold finishes, so it is a nice addition to the bathroom decor. I’d been looking a long time for a mirror that extends – my bathroom sink is low so I needed something to be able to pull up to a higher height. And because it is extendible and retractable, if I move positions and want to lower it, it easily slides down. No knobs to turn or locks, it just slides up or down and holds its place. This mirror is 13″ in height retracted and extends to a full 15″ in height (see pictures).My previous mirror was able to flip front-to-back, so that one side showed regular magnification and one side showed zoomed magnification. I preferred two full areas of glass for each view, but could not find one that flipped like that and also extended. With this mirror, there is a smaller piece of glass that attaches to the main mirror by magnet, so you can easily pull it on and off. It gives me enough zoom to see what I am doing for close eye makeup work, for example. So although the “zoomed area” is not as large as I would like, it does serve its purpose.The light easily turns on and off with the touch of the power button. It has a very bright white light, which I love, but you can also hold the switch to dim or brighten it. I don’t use the dimmer function, personally, because I prefer the brightest white light. The mirror comes with instructions, the only part they leave out is that on the back there is a small light that should turn on when you plug it in. It should turn bright blue when it is completely plugged in and charging. The first time I plugged it in to charge, I did not push it in hard enough and the blue light did not come on, and so it wasn’t charging. When I gave it a little push, it “snapped” into place and the blue light turned on. Charging is finished when the light goes off. That part is not in the instructions. As with most electronics nowadays, it comes with the charging cord but not the plug-in or charging block. I just use the charger for my iPhone and plug the cord into that and then into the wall, and it works perfectly. The charge lasts a long time! I only have to charge it every two months or so. Of course that depends on how much one uses the mirror, but for me it is morning and evening bathroom use (brushing teeth, makeup, washing face, etc.) and with that amount of use, I charge it once every two months, roughly.I would NOT recommend it for travel – it is big and bulky and does not fold flat. It would take up a lot of room in a suitcase.All in all, really nice looking mirror, works great, and am very pleased with the extension feature, which is the main reason I settled on this particular mirror.

I just purchased a second of this fabulous travel mirror!I’m 65year old and very near-sighted. I have just moved to a place where again there is no mirror that I’m able to see with! Those mirrors pasted on walls behind sink just don’t do it when you can’t see!This mirror is superb and feel in a good place to say that after using for over a year for travelling, prior to this recent move.Being able to adjust the light intensity and to adjust the height, just makes it a very human needs design. I actually have it prompt up a box to make it the perfect permanent height and again, it’s design, allows this with no concerns of toppling over.Great products are rare and appreciate the work that went into this one!
