Works as intended but does fold up awkwardly/not smoothly. It did help me get into and out of a shorter car with my limited range of motion after surgery. I am a heavy person (over 200lbs) so it is pretty strong.

Durable and Works Well, Slight Issue with Foot Strap
This device is pretty adaptable and elderly friendly. It provide provides comfort for people that have trouble lifting their leg, post an injury or surgery. In terms of functionality it works pretty darn well and itâs not super expensive so I found it a good value for the money.The one issue I had with this particular leg lifter is that the foot part can tighten up on the foot in a way that it gets stuck. So if disabled person is unable to reach their foot, they will have trouble taking it out. This seems like a design flaw, and I had to add an additional component to the Foot strap in order to make it safe and not continue to tighten. I would recommend that the company look at this and make the product a little bit safer. Or if you get this product test out the foot strap and add a little stop component so that it doesnât tighten too much on itself.The strap itself seems pretty durable, so I give this 3 stars

Works well with multiple handles up and down the length. Has some structure which makes it easier to hook over the foot without bending, but folds toa more compact size for storage.
