VERY COOL CARDS
Very nicely done deck, although just gloss “board game” style cards, not heavy duty linen or plastic finished – so the edges WILL eventually separate with use (especially shuffling). The art is a bit simplistic, black and white, and kind of children’s bookish in style, but pleasing.The exercises and meditations on the cards are well written, thoughtful and growth-oriented… NICE.Comes in a sturdy cardboard box, and includes a very cool wooden card stand, to hold the card you’re currently using / meditating on / etc… Recommended. NICE!

Guided mediations and thoughtful introspection.
I’m a true artist at heart. Every day is fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants. But one thing I’ve tried to do in keeping some focus and habits are daily insight. I make time and take time 3 times a week, usually around noon, to just get into a comfy headspace and clear my mind. These cards provide a thoughtful but casual guide into such introspection. The cards go in depth while providing additional questions to explore your whole train of thought. Great for anxiety as well. I loved these so much I ordered a similar deck with a different theme from the same company. Could you simply conceive of these questions yourself? Possibly, but it’s a very eastern thing to do, philosophically speaking, to take agency outside of yourself just for a short time and allow the cards to guide you, if for no other reason then to de-stress.

Excellent set of positive affirmation cards
Useful set of daily thoughts/ideas/meditations to help develop a positive mindset. The cards are very well made and thoughtful with a wide variety of ideas, meditations and actions. The affirmation, question and action format is well done and guides the user to a better understanding of the base affirmation. The 10 categories are a nice collection of ideas especially if you need to focus on a particular area of your thoughts. The focus on the individual (very “I” based is my view and opinion) is a double edged sword in my opinion. Yes this is for self improvement, but working together in teams, families or other groups is also part of one’s development. Maybe I’m over thinking it, but that said, they are excellent affirmations that would serve anyone well and help them with their mindfulness and balance.

Meditation instructions are too broad for my liking
This set has 80 daily meditation cards that focus on 10 different topics including self-esteem, self-love, anxiety relief, mindfulness, relationships, personal growth, confidence building, compassion & kindness, focus, and resilience. The area of focus is listed at the top of each card so you can easily sort through them and work on one specific topic or you can mix them up and work through them randomly.Each card includes an affirmation, some artwork, a self-reflection question, and a recommended activity/meditation prompt. I really like working through one card before I go to bed each night. I find that the affirmation puts me in a more positive mindset while the other parts of the card encourage me to reflect on various aspects of my life and to meditate that dayâs stress away.Fair warning, the instructions on each card for the meditation/activity section are very broad and do not go into any specifics such as what type of breathing you should do (ex. box breathing, 4-7-8 breathing, etc.) or what pose to hold while meditating. I took two stars off for this reason because I feel like something called âDaily Meditationsâ should be a little more guided and have more specific instructions. I know they probably intentionally made it broad because they want this to be easy and accessible to everyone (including those whoâve never meditated before). However, I personally find that meditation is easier when you are given thorough instructions versus just being told to sit and reflect on something for 5 minutes. Overall, I think these are great prompts for people who are familiar with meditation and who just want some suggestions for positive things to reflect on during their meditative time. However, Iâm not sure how useful these cards would be (at least the activity section) for people who arenât super familiar with meditation and who are looking for tips or guidance to help them start their meditation journey.Here are some examples of the broad instructions given in the meditation/activity section of the cards:- âLook around and find something beautiful in your environment. Focus on this beauty, meditating for 5 minutes.â- âAcknowledge your current feelings without judgment. Sit with these feelings, breathing calmly, for 5 minutes.â

These Cards Represent A New Paradigm In Meditation
As a person who has never really been able to gel with traditional meditation practices, these cards are a breath of fresh air!The cards come in a well-designed, reinforced box and as well as wrapped in plastic to avoid any damage. In addition, they also include a nice wooden stand to place your card in. Honestly, the packaging/presentation deserves it’s own set of 5 stars!There are 80 cards here and they address 10 important meditation areas such as Anxiety Relief, Mindfulness, and Focus – to name a few! Each category is color coded so it can easily be sorted. Each card has a main statement on the front along with a simple, multi-cultural drawing on the front. On the back you will see a related question and meditative task (usually 2 or 5 minutes) related to the question as well as the statement. These cards will help set the tone for your day and honestly, will only take about 5 minutes.I would suggest these cards for anyone who has trouble with traditional meditation practices or even those who are comfortable with traditional meditation – these cards are written in a way that anyone can feel comfortable with (even me!)I really can’t believe they were able to offer cards this well-produced so inexpensively! If you’re into meditation, do yourself a favor and get this set!
