I drink plastic water bottles everyday and studies are being done saying how bad for you that actually is overtime with microplastics being very harmful. This removes 99.999999% of microplastics and works out for my situation cause all I’ll be using it for is plastic water bottles. It says the membrane filter on it that filters these microplastics lasts 8,000 plastic water bottles 16.9 fl oz. If I drink 4 water bottles a day this membrane filter will last me 5 years approximately! There is a carbon filter that you could change after 2 months if using it for tap water or rivers to rid of bad taste but I’m not worried about doing that as I’m just using plastic water bottles so this is perfect for my situation. I also bought a 2nd filter which was fairly cheap! Only complaint I have is it is a little hard to suck water out from the filter but it’s manageable. It says to blow the water back out when you’re done drinking which I think is the hard part and can be annoying because you don’t want water to be trapped in the filter after use. Other than that this is a great purchase and hopefully saves my body from the harmful microplastics!
