Seems to help my hard water
I have very hard water and Iron bacteria due to an old hand dug farm well. This is about the only filter that actually mentions it filters out bacteria. It seems to take out at least some of the hardness too. The water tastes better than out of the tap.

    Filters beautifully, design weaknesses
Water tastes fabulous after being filter with this. And it takes microbes out. At this price.Love the size and narrow full-fridge depth. Lid took a couple weeks to really seat itself fully, considered returning, but it sits fine nowThe spigot is not as convenient as I’d like, not a deal breaker now that I realize there actually IS a little extended part to put a finger behind to gain leverage. I wish they’d made it more prominent, but now that I know it’s there, I have no complaints.Suggestions, though. A link to a video showing a closeup of the spigot, in and out of use, and do something about those lids. Most people would have sent this back.

    Working Wonderfully
I’ve been very happy with the product, the ease of use, and the taste of the water.Did have one hiccup. After 7 months, the spout broke. However, I contacted customer service, and they are sending another one out today!

Water tastes great but drips at the spout.
This is a great filtering system. The water tastes smooth and clear! I bought the 18 cup size and although it’s big it fits my needs. I’m now using the filtered water for cooking as well as drinking water. The materials are sturdy. I took off one point because the spout for water release drips a couple of drops after finishing releasing the water. So I tap it to get the drop out before I slide it back to the back of the counter. It also drips when I pull it forward and beginning to think it may have a defective spout or the design needs updating so it doesn’t drip when the spout lever is closed. It looks great, I bought the pebble color. Value for money is 3.5 because of the drip.

    Great option to bottled water
We just moved to a town that has a boil advisory… like… every day.. :(We got this thinking it ould be a hassel and thats farthest from the truth… It is SOOO easy to use and clean. I was also concerned the filter would be hard to change every 3ish months.. we just did our first change and it was very simple.. I placed mine on a metal shelf on my counter and iuts the perfect height..Very pleased.

    Works great
Removes more impurities than any other filter at this price. If you had to, you could drink a mudd puddle filtered through this.

    Water finally tastes good
I have read the reviews that this one leaks. I haven’t seen that yet and I’ve owned it two months, but I also keep it on the counter next to the sink so that I can fill my coffee maker, my water bottle, the cat water bowls, cooking water, etc. It’s perfect for all of this and it’s easy to fill. the water tastes great. No smells, and no aftertaste. I’m enjoying water again. My 76 year old mother who hates to drink water also just bought it and she’s drinking water all day now and loves it.
