Bright, a lot of options to personalize, very complete and useful lamp.
Itâs a very complete lamp with many different options and adds for my life; I wanted to try just because the winter is coming and I was reading a lot about the help the light lamp could get me as I get a little down because no sunlight in this part of the north.Itâs amazing lamp; not only has solved my problem for the morning light and during the day, also now I have an alarm that is super smart as it wakes me up with the light gradually at the same time in a kind way, is gradually turning the light brighter as my time to wake up is coming, and I was shock when I was suddenly woke up more naturally and less grumpy. Also I didnât know but it has many different options for the color of light as used as lamp during the day or night time. One more plus it has many different sounds to help you to sleep like white noise and rain; very nice surprise to me! Amazing, now I gradually start to sleep better since Iâve stopped using my phone for alarm and also Iâm gradually started to waking up more naturally and slowly thanks to this light lamp. The easiest thing was start to use it, just unpacked it and plug it, it has a battery as well; you can use it either way. And is very easy to use it and figure it out the buttons; but obviously it comes with a manual that is very easy to read and follow. No need to re-read after because the lamp is very easy to use and set up. Not need assembly or anything like that. Or extra batteries to start.

Beautiful lamp
The kidsâ favorite! The light makes bedtime reading cozier and waking up in the morning extra delightful. The whole family loves this lamp. We love both the music and the lighting. Highly recommended!

Really nice for the price, simple to use, more features than you’d expect
Really nice, especially for the price. Looks good, works well. They made some great decisions with including physical buttons where necessary, and in the right places (separate buttons to program and silence, silence on top, program in back). I programmed it without picking up the instructions once, it was extremely simple.

Love it!
So many options. I got this one to help simulate the sun rising during winter months. However, I love it too help fall asleep, the cricket noise turned down low, with the ambient colored lighting, feels like a summer night in my room. The windchines are the perfect sound to wake up to. Without realizing it, I was using it as an evening light, and it is placed in front of a plant I’ve had for years. I’ve struggled to keep the plant healthy, but I think it’s healthier than it’s ever been… it’s gotta be the light! My kid went and bought a different one shortly after I purchased mine. She isn’t as happy with hers, and is actually going to purchase this one. My only complaints are the touch response on the buttons isn’t very sensitive, it only works if plugged in, and the lumens side is on the back side, so I have to turn it around every night. Nothing too much of a con, but enough that I have it 4 stars.

So nice for winter and sleeping
I was looking at the hatch but I couldn’t justify the price and I saw reviews that said when the app is down you can use the alarm.I am really happy I went for this alternative it was priced better and it doesn’t need and another app to clog up my phone. It is really easy to set up. And I like the music it sounds pretty decent and the lights are soft. There is also a nice back light for indirect light and hits the wall behind it

Cute alarm clock/light, but not as good as other sunrise alarm clocks or light therapy lamps.
OVERVIEW:- If you want a sunrise alarm clock that gently illuminates the wall, has fun colors on the front, and that doesn’t take up too much space on your nightstand, get the Ricial.- If you want an easier-to-use alarm clock that will wake you up with light, get a different sunrise alarm clock that illuminates from the front.- If you want to do light therapy, get a real light therapy lamp. This Ricial light is likely too dim to be very effective for light therapy.DETAILED COMPARISONS: I compared this Ricial alarm clock against the Philips Wake-Up Light and the HappyLight Touch Plus light therapy lamp.RICIAL VS. PHILIPS WAKE-UP LIGHT:- “Sunrise”: The Ricial emits light from the back of the device, illuminating the wall rather than your face.If you want your face to be illuminated in the morning, you have to turn the Ricial clock around before bed, but then you canât see the time. The Philips emits light from the front of the device, so I find it more effective at waking me up because the light shines closer to my face.- Front colors: Ricial has multiple options, while the Philips just goes from orange to white as it gets brighter.- Sounds: Both have background noise sound options. The Philips, however, can play the radio.- Time Display: The Ricial displays the time, including seconds, in a bright white light, while the Philips shows the time (no seconds) in a more dim red light that isn’t as disruptive during the night.- Size: The Ricial is about 2 inches shorter and about 3 inches thinner than the Philips.- Ease of Use: The light on the Philips is controlled by physical buttons on the side of the device that are easy to feel in the dark. The lights of the Ricial are controlled by tapping on the front screen, so you have to look at it to change the light and fumble with the screen that is not as responsive to taps as the Philips.RICIAL VS. HappyLight LIGHT THERAPY LAMP:- Despite being advertised as 10,000 Lux, this Ricial light was noticeably dimmer than an actual light therapy lamp, the HappyLight Touch Plus, which is also advertised as 10,000 Lux.- The video shows the difference in brightness from the Ricial (left, at full brightness and Color 1) and the HappyLight (right).- Because the light of the Ricial emits from the back, you have to turn the device around to use it for light therapy, and all of the controls are on the opposite side.- The Ricial probably should not be considered a light therapy lamp.

I scoured the reviews to find a decent sunlight alarm, ended up choosing this one. What I will say is that the therapy light is really nice and bright, and because itâs circular and has lighting on two sides it feels quite natural and comforting. However, the main reason I got this was for the sunrise alarm mode. Itâs not too difficult to set up BUT I didnât realise the sunrise alarm light is only emitted from the BACK of the device.Due to the sunrise alarm light emit facing the back, if itâs anywhere near a wall itâs going to be nowhere near as bright as if it was facing you, which then means you have to turn the product around AWAY from the clock face. Just really irritating for something of that price. As well as that the range of sounds for the sunrise alarm mode is not great, and the speakers are very low quality. While the therapy lamp (back light) can emit really bright warm (or cold) colours, you can only go to about 12 out of 20 max brightness before it becomes a really cold and harsh light i.e when you set the brightness of the sunrise lamp the brighter you want it the more cold and white the light becomes. The same bulbs are used for the therapy lighting as for the sunlight alarm so why can the alarm not output the same light as the therapy setting?Overall, if you needed a therapy lamp itâs pretty good but still way too expensive. Nowhere near worth the money if you wanted a sunrise alarm clock and you donât mind having to turn something around twice a day to get the use out of it

Great essential daily tool!Much better than having a cellphone alarm, wakes you up naturallyGood lighting ambience and lots of brightness and color configurationBonus sunrise feature!
Amazonadian, Eh?! –
The circular buttons do not match up to where you actually need to press. The other two cons:A) there is no way to set a sunset sleep aid timerB) the lowest light setting for the ambient light and the clock face cannot be set any lower than what’s preprogrammed.
