I washed it out almost as fast as I put it in. It scared me how dark it was. It also stains your hands, but washes off quite quickly. That being said it took out the brass and made it an even caramel bronde color. It looks much more natural and I actually love it. It also smells really good. Just not sure as to how long it will last. I still have about a half of the bottle left once this washes out. I will leave it on longer next time. I also have the smokey bronde color that I may use with it. Great if you’re like me and don’t want a permanent change. Also don’t want any damage to you hair. Left my hair super soft and silky.

The perfect salt and pepper shade!
Updated: 2/09/25 I wanted to transition from dyeing my hair to natural grays and found this hair gloss, and I am so glad I tried it! This was so easy to apply and use while in the shower. It is also less messy to apply, seemingly less harmful chemicals, and less smell than regular hair dyes. I’ve used all brands of pricey hair colors resulting in my hair thinning and being chemically fried, and itchy and irritated scalp that I decided to take the big leap and go gray.I started slowly by letting my roots grow out to gray without dyeing it (not pretty) and having regular hair cuts to get rid of my colored brunette hair, and then started using this hair gloss to keep my salt and pepper tone. Yes, it does take a while to grow gray but after nearly 3 years now (made feasible by the COVID lockdown and working remotely) my hair seems healthier, thicker, and my scalp less irritated and itchy. In my opinion, this hair gloss also saves me money than having my lowlights done and sitting for 2 hours every 2-3 weeks in a salon than doing something fun outdoors! What a trade off!Shampoo it in while in the shower, wait 15-20 minutes, rinse, and apply your favorite conditioner. Easy peasy!!I have applied it on dry hair sometimes, comb it through, and then let it sit for 10 minutes while I wash/scrub my body. Then after 10 minutes, I lather it in and leave it for 5 more minutes before washing it off and applying my leave in conditioner. It seems this gives my hair a more glossy salt and pepper gray shine that I often get compliments on my hair color.

I had doubts this would be as good as it sounded but it is!I gradually darken my hair by using it as a conditioner and it leaves my hair in good condition, not drying at all.Great way of subtley darkening hair naturally.

I got my hair done at salon. I loved my hair. I needed my roots done and for some reason the Hairdresser didnât tone it. She didnât think it needed being done, but I think the lighting was different. Iâm not sure but when I got home and I was talking to my daughter on FaceTime. We both realized that it needed some kind of toning it was, just that little bit of yellowish brassy that just didnât look natural so I remembered that I had bought some of this stuff from LâOreal so I decided well Iâm gonna put it on and it said that it had depending on how long your hair was three sometimes even more Times using it I left it on for 10 minutes and then all I did was rinse it off and washed it with them only the product on it. I did not use anything else. I just scrubbed and scrubbed and rinsed off and I came out of the shower, dried my hair, and I looked and my hair was platinum blonde there was not one single yellow in it at all at first it was a real shock. I called my daughter on FaceTime and we both laughed so hard but as we were laughing and it started drying and we realized that actually it looked really good and then when I did it up, I made it a messy look because my hair is short. I did a messy chic and then I messaged her again on FaceTime and she said oh my God mama I love it. This is incredible. Itâs absolutely incredible. You need to use it on the right tone. It has to be where your hair is at a certain level of color. You have to know the colour levels if your hair is brown it wonât do anything. It has to be a light enough blonde and must be blonde in order for it to do anything at all then when you use it watch it do it magic I use it once a week because we have hard water here and I still use my purple shampoo, but I use my purple shampoo with the salon shampoo because I donât want my hair to get dry and so far is working very well and once a week I donât use a lot of this stuff because my hair is short and for me a little long way I use it with my hair, damp wet. I make sure that itâs not dripping. I get it wet and then I dry it off of the towel and then I add this magical Treatment and it sometimes I do it for five minutes depending on how much I think I need sometimes I add from one up to the 10 minutes but no more than 10 minutes. I donât want my hair to be purple. I just want it to be a nice white blonde and I am enjoying it eventually Iâm gonna be getting Smudges when my hair grows longer and I am hoping that while it actually will because the roots much is gonna be a dark blonde or a light brown so it wonât do anything to it so itâll still be OK. Iâm extremely happy youâve got light blonde hair that tends to go brassy get this stuff. You will never regret it.
