Customers say
Customers find the home gym station heavy-duty and well-made for the price, with good functionality and value for money. The assembly instructions receive mixed feedback – while some find them easy to follow, others report terrible assembly directions. The sturdiness and size also get mixed reviews, with some finding it sturdy and compact while others report it being unstable and too narrow. The weight capacity receives positive feedback for providing enough weight to challenge users, though one customer notes the weights lack markers.

OK, Cliff! –
Complicated to assemble, but great machine!
It came in a million pieces, but the visual instructions were sufficient for this somewhat handy guy to assemble it within a few hours by myself. All the hardware was well organized and labeled. I think it was step 10 that left me scratching my head, but I took a break, made some chamomile tea, and when I came back it finally made sense. The gym seems very sturdy and all movements are smooth and offer a full range of motion for me, and I’m 5’10”. I’m guessing those who claimed it does not messed up on the pulley system somewhere. The pull-down bar comes with a chain; however, I find it needs to be left off, unless you have short tyrannosaurus arms. All in all, I highly recommend this gym for this price range. It has all the basic functions for a well-rounded workout. I’m excited.

I liked the Bowflex in that it did fold up into …
I purchased this unit to replace a Bowflex I purchased some 12 years ago…..I liked the Bowflex in that it did fold up into a smaller space when not in use, was easy to move if needed, but that unit did take more time to perform a complete workout because of changing attachments, and hooking and unhooking cables, and in my opinion was really not the quality of this unit (at least when compared to the earlier Bowflex model that I owned)……Although this Marcy unit does not fold up like the Bowflex meaning it requires a bit more space when not in use, I had the floor space for this compact unit and I like using this unit much better because of the simple, compact design and the ability to get a complete workout without having to add and / or subtract components …..This unit is a quality product and I consider it well worth the price….One reason I rated it a 4 was because it is taller than the 80 inches high as advertised……..My workout room is a remodeled storage room with a sloped ceiling from 102 inches to 82 inches…..This unit was the only such unit I found that I thought would just fit on the back wall of my workout area because of its advertised height of 80 inches but since it is 84 inches to the top of the front of the unit, it did not fit where planned…..(And of course I could not determine that until I had unpacked and read the instructions enough to hold the major components together to see if it would fit where planned……Once I saw it was 4 inches taller than advertised and did not fit in the area I wanted to place the unit in, I was faced with either repacking and returning, or rearranging the planned layout of my room by moving some other equipment and using this unit in a different, less desirable area.)….. I also rated it a 4 because of the assembly time……The four hours I saw in some areas did not get it for me……My time was at least 8 hours for the whole project ….Unpacking (excellent packaging) and sorting out all of the parts took me an hour or so….All the small parts were well numbered but trust me, they need to be because there are vast number of them and there is not one piece of this unit that comes assembled from the distributor….Assembly was very slow using a step by step picture guide in very small print (every large component, nut, washer, bolt, pulley)…..You will hunt and sort parts and assemble a step at a time…. And you will most likely have to redo at least a couple of the assembly steps because the assembly drawings just are not large and clear enough to fully understand the first go around…….I found what I thought to be good welds, quality fit and paint for the large components, and I was impressed with the excellent hardware quality……Once assembled as instructed, the unit feels sound and works very well….I expect years of quality service out of the unit…..I would highly recommend this unit for a home gym workout…..I consider the unit well worth the money…..Just be prepared however to have plenty of room to spread out your parts and to take your time and enjoy the assembly journey…..I also recommend you save the assembly instructions for future reference and build this unit where you plan for it to stay for a long while…..Considering the size and weight (400 pounds) of this unit, it is not something that I think you will be moving from room to room on a whim……

Good quality
I ordered this product for my husband. I had my 16 year old son and his friend put it together. They did an excellent job and the weight set seems like a good quality. It came shipped and was missing 4 pullieâs. I contacted the seller and they shipped them out immediately so that my son could finish the set up. I think it took my son and his friend a little over 4 hours to put it together. My husbands only complaint is that he canât adjust the seat. Rather than that, itâs a good piece of equipment for the price.

Pretty heavy duty for a home machine.
This is not hard to put together. I literally used 3 size tools to put it together. It did take a couple of days to do (1 if you have the energy, I am 58). I also did it by myself. As long as you are good with tools (can turn a bolt) it will be no problem.I have read the “instructions were bad.” I did not have a problem with them. Just make sure you go through everything and make sure it is there. Spread it out so you can see every part. All of the nuts, bolts and washers are in a package and separated for you. Just release them as needed. Also, this is not a small unit. Make sure you put it together in the location you are going to use it. I am 6 ft and the top is about 7 ft.For the price and a 200lb stack this is a very good unit.

After 4 hours to assembly, I appreciate this home gym. Simple to use, good dimension and very solid.

What can I say. I bought this piece more than a year ago; however, I started using it fully for the last 4 months because of the pandemic. I love it! It is sturdy enough and I am getting stronger and shredded by the day. I am 5’10” and weigh 210. I used to love the gym some 30 years ago… Now I am back at it! And my wife and daughters are noticing! Excellent value for money. Easy assembly but you need to follow the instructions and be patient (I did it alone and took 3 days working a couple of hours each day). Please make sure you know the place to set the machine up from set the start.. once built it is very heavy and you won’t be able to move it around without some help : ) excellent value for money!

Hi one of the peaces came damaged we didn’t notice it until after were putting it together. I’m wondering what is the best thing to do .I have pictures.Thank you

My only request is that you supply extra hardware (nuts and bolts) just in case you loose something during assembly. Other than that went together easily and works great ðThey should also supply numbers for the weights so you know what capacity you are working out with.

This gym comes in SIX (6) boxes and has to be assembled by the buyer. If your are not a DYI type and donât know one, go to a gym equipment store that offers product assembly. The sanity you save will be worth it.Even if you do rate yourself in the DYI ranks, keep in mind the the assembly instructions are almost totally useless. The diagrams are small and poorly labeled. Not all the parts are numbered, the parts list/diagrams are small and not very clear. Steps are shown out of order. Steps already preformed in one step are not show in the diagram for subsequent steps on the same parts. This leaves you looking for other similar parts not yet used, (frustrating to say the least). What ever you do donât drop any parts, especially nuts, bolts and washers, they donât include any extras.
