No, I wonât take away stars for taste
Yes, the taste is horrific. Itâs made from algae – no amount of flavoring or sugar will take it away. But the health benefits are incredible. Itâs two less capsules I have to take, and readily absorbed instead of having to break it down.Just mix it in a strong tasting juice (such as pure cranberry or tart cherry), pinch your nose, take it like a shot and brush your teeth/swish with mouthwash immediately.This is a high quality tincture. Sometimes we must suffer a bit for health and beauty.

Disgusting and non refundable
I made the mistake of not reading the reviews. This oil is absolutely awful. I almost threw up when I tried it. Tastes like straight up fish oil and not orange. I also didnât know you canât return or exchange this. I could return anything at a grocery store. Not happy at all with this product.

Worth it
This is an expensive product. I always buy the biggest bottle, because it works! Though it does not last for as long as they claim on the bottle taking the dosage per day amount (I use their âshot glass when dispensing). I wait for specials and sales or codes to purchase! I DEFINITELY wish they would lower the price but I feel better taking it, and yes, my hair grows pretty well after taking it for 2 years.

Extremely fishy tasting
Do not purchase if you are sensitive to taste. Its an oily substance that smells and taste extremely fishy. I am not typically bothered with fishy taste but i swallowed a few droplets and instantly gagged. The oil base made it worse as it stayed in my throat. I even grabbed a soda to hopefully get rid of the taste left over but it did not go away. the box specifically says no fish taste which was completely untrue.however this brand is still great and i will most likely purchase again just in pill form. Because the drops are terrible

Big fan of MaryRuth’s, but not a big fan of algae oil
Love the brand, but couldn’t take this item – too much fishy taste that really, really lingers. I tried another brand of algae oil and it was the same, so maybe that’s just how algae oil tastes. I guess I’ll stick with my fish oil capsules.

DONT BUY! SAVE YOUR MONEY! TRUST ME
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!Firstly it’s non returnable and it’s nearly $20! Trust me you’ll want to return it after you smell it coming from the box itself … my partner even tried it and he immediately grossed out and some landed on my hand and I can’t get the smell off my hand even after washing 𤮠I’m a vegetarian nearly 20 years now and I’ve always hated fish i tried had to remember this is vegan but that LINGERING SMELL! I’m just more angry they don’t take returns, they know it’s not food safety and they KNOW it’s because this product is absolutely horrible and is probably being return a lot just from rhat . Save your money !

Awesome that itâs vegan…but *does* taste fishy
I think if youâre used to tasting other actual fish-oil supplements, this probably tastes pleasant in comparison. But if youâve been vegetarian/vegan for years, like me, it has a definite fishy taste. Iâll keep taking it, with a strong chaser of food/fruit juice immediately after, because I want the omega 3 benefits & I want vegan. But be warned â the only thing âOrangeâ about this is the picture on the label.
