I love this cookbook so much that…..
I love it so much that I hate it. Why do I hate it? Because I’ve always wanted to make a cookbook about soup and sandwiches and now that I got this book, there is no point. Lowly soups and sandwiches can be elevated wonderful things. But the best ones are the seemingly pedestrian done bang on right. The recipes in this book are wonderful. I frequently get cookbooks and its been a long time since I’ve laid in bed with a cookbook and gone page by page. DAMN YOU MATTY, I’ve imagine making a cookbook on the same subjects, but now there is no point, Your book is the highest water mark that I’d never beat. Damn you, but thank you. Thank you very much.

Book came in with a pretty noticable scuff
This isn’t the books’ fault, the actual content seems nice. (I don’t wanna crack it open fully and flip through it since it’s going to a friend)It made me sad though that I’m giving this as a Gift and the book has a black scuff mark on the front cover.

My Son loved this gift
My son is a type 1 diabetic and is away at college right now. He had a few go to recipes but now with this book he has expanded his dinner options. He likes to cook and it saves money not eating out all the time. He was showing me a recipe that he is going to try next last night and it looks great and not too difficult

Was not sure what to expect from a book titled Soups, Salads and Sandwiches but as usual a book from Matty Matheson did not let me down. There are so many things to choose from, I’m not sure what to make first. I didn’t think I was really a soup person but he makes them all look totally delicious and even though there may be a few ingredients in the list, they are mostly things you would have on hand at home anyway. So many flavour bombs here….very happy camper.
