Made a huge difference in steaks!
Easy to use, quick to settle on the temp, good extension to avoid burning your hand. Once I figured out that I really did need to pay attention to the internal temp of grilled meats this has made a huge difference. Steaks off the smoker and reverse seared to 130 are the best steaks we’ve ever had. No more overcooking chicken either. Inexpensive. My only complaint is that the default seems to be centigrade temps on startup.

The thermometer is easy to use and the backlit display is easy to read while you are using the BBQ at dusk. the thermometer turns on automatically when you open and turns off when when you close it. The compact size makes for easy storage. I like the bright blue color which makes it easy to locate the the utensil drawer. I have used it for BBQ’d salmon and the indicated temperature also agreed with “looking” done. I also verified the temperature using boiling water. I trust the temperature displayed.
