Drier fine tip fountain pen ink friendly
I was looking for a starter self care journal with enough space to add what I need as I work out what I want to keep track of. I’ve got medical things to track which just doesn’t seem to fit specific medical journals, while this one has enough room to track not only self care items and more. The stickers included are cute. My extra fine tip kakuno with pilot blue black ink didn’t ghost through, but my more damp medium tipped fountain pen with a very wet ink ghosted pretty badly–but that isn’t unusual since it tends to with most paper. My drier bic brite liner didn’t ghost at all. The ivory colored paper is really pretty. I’m glad I finally picked up a self care journal and this one has a long list of self care ideas that I think are pretty useful. The cover does mark easily but since it’s a 90 day journal, it should last.

Good Self Care
I received this item at no cost so that I could provide a review for Amazon customers…This is a really nice self care journal. The questions are simple, yet deep enough to reach your heart and soul — which is the main purpose of using a self-care journal. (It also provides a page so that you can list your nutritious foods as well as your daily water intake).It’s easy to get too busy in life if you have a job (or schedule) that is so demanding that you just ‘drop’ once you get home (this is not healthy, by the way…). When I saw my daughter working so many hours that she barely had time to shower, I had to do something for her. This self help journal was an excellent answer for my needs — my need to support my daughter in taking better care of herself — so that I COULD HAVE PEACE-OF-MIND….no one can be the best version of themselves — if they don’t take care of their own wellbeing. I honestly believe that this journal will help.

Cute and Practical
I am trying very hard to work on my mental health. I plan on using this at the start of the year. The cover is pretty and thick, so I think it will hold up to frequent use. It has a nice little ribbon for marking your place – always a plus. There is self-care stuff in the front, then monthly/daily/weekly sections in the back. I think three months worth. So it will work as a planner, as well as a place where I can put all of my detailed thoughts. It came with stickers, too.There was one page that I didn’t know how to use so some instructions would be helpful. (the page with the circle graph, I can’t figure out the best way to utilize it!)It also gives you two pages full of self-care ideas. It is hard to just get into self-care without some direction!

Useful journal with additional stickers
I like that this journal has categories with some graphic design thrown in instead of blank or lined pages. The grouping of things makes it easy for my ADHD mind to grab onto an area and begin reflecting and writing about what comes up. There’s plenty of room to write one’s thoughts, but also useful prompts like ‘self-care act’ and ‘affirmation of the day’, and space to record meals if you’re working on that, to-do space, and also what you’re looking forward to. I especially like the wheel of wellbeing graph where you can chart different aspects of your life. The stickers are also cute and the pages are thick enough that ballpoint ink hasn’t bled through. I haven’t tried good quality marker yet. It’s a good size to fit into a handbag or backpack. The price point at under $10 makes this a good value.

Amazing
This is one of the nicest journals I have ever seen or had. It promotes thoughtful helpful self help. This is something to look forward to. Itâs so nice for mental and physical ways to put it on paper for self help and healing. I recommend everyone have this or something like it. Itâs well done and a wonderful journal. Its color is attractive and the journal is easy to use. Itâs very affordable. I think itâs amazing and I love it.

Perfect journal for me – due to health issues I have to make some lifestyle changes, this journal is perfect and pretty much reflects most of the questions and ideas that my doctor suggested! It’s nicely organized, has a bookmark, and is open ended for dates. A written vision board!It is nicely bound, and the paper colour is nice. I did find the paper a bit porous and as another reviewer mentioned a ball point pen works best, marker types may bleed through.

This Biroyal self-care journal has become an amazing all in one habit tracker/planner for my day that works really well with my neurodivergent mind. My favourite part may just be the area for evening reflection. I find it really helps me stay focussed on doing right by myself and really zeroing in on the things that Iâm personally looking to achieve in life.The beginning of the journal includes journaling space with questions that really help get this new self-care practice off and running; asking questions to identify your vision, your purpose, the things that fill with joy, where youâre placing your energy in life now, and the top goals in the key life areas that youâre trying to fulfill.The size of this journal is perfect. Although it is a bit heavier, being a hardcover journal, portable and easy to pack, but with ample writing room, and the quality is amazing. The cover is really well-made; itâs thick and sturdy, and I love the deep green colour with âThe Self-Care Journalâ simply stamped into the leather.The paper is amazing; nice and smooth, very easy to write on and it allows my ink to flow and absorb well with little smudging. The binding on this is well done, and despite the style and thickness (253 pages), the journal actually does lay flat even as you get deeper into it, so there are no issues with it becoming awkward to write in. The journal includes an attached ribbon bookmark, and I love that the pages are not dated; allowing for those times where life gets in the way, without adding onto a personal guilt.Overall, I am very happy with this self care journal and I love the all-inclusive element of gratitude, goal-setting and daily planning that helps me track the key things I need to schedule and get done in my day, that are both practical and just for me. Pros:- Cover is soft, fake leather bound hardback- Comes with a tassel to keep your place- Undated! One of my pet peeves with some journals is having dates. I LOVE that you can date it yourself so that you can start it now or a year from now and if you skip a few days, it’s not a big deal- The layout is great. It starts with pages for overarching self-care activities such as what you’re happy about in your life, what fills you with joy and what drains you, your top goals, and even space for a vision board. It then has a two-page spread for each day: one page you fill in at the start of the day with your plan then the other page is a place to reflect on the day that evening. There’s also a two-page spread for a weekly review, including an exercise, and a monthly review. Do some or do all of the activities to help guide and motivate yourself.- The end of the journal has copious pages for notes- There’s a little pocket at the back to place papers, etc.- Comes with several pages of stickers: both cute and motivational and those to help mark certain activities on your calendar (e.g. “me time”). The stickers came in a separate envelope.Opportunities:- None so far.Overall, a great option for those interested in self-reflection (doesn’t even have to be just women!) At the current cost of $19.99, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better deal.
