“Help-Me-Up” a Garden Kneeler mobility aid with a support post handle is designed to relieve physical stress on your back and knees when you are lowering into a kneeling position, and it is especially helpful when trying to stand up from the kneeling position. When transitioning from the kneeling position into the standing position, it is the first four to six inch “transition zone” that is the most difficult to complete, and that “transition zone” places the most stress on your body. The initial body lift can produce a large amount of “mechanical” stress on the back and knees. It is particularly difficult for those who have back problems, arthritis or severe knee problems.
Mobility aid garden kneeler pad with a support support post handle is designed to relieve physical stress on your back and knees when you are lowering into a kneeling position. It is especially helpful when trying to stand up from the kneeling position.
The soft pad is 17.8″ x 11″ and 1 1/2″ thick. The support post is 12″ tall and has a soft ball grip attached to the top.
The post handle is supported by and attached to a steel plate that is embedded inside the soft pad. It will not touch the floor or cause any scratches to any surface.
Utilizing the support handle during kneeling helps to alleviate some stress placed on the knees and lower back.
It can be easily disassembled for storage with no screws or clamps to disassemble.
Works like a shorter cane and acts as a standing kneeling aid.

Customers say

Customers find the kneeling pad effective, with one mentioning it works well for physical limitations and another noting it’s perfect for getting down on knees. The support handle feels secure, and customers like the concept. However, the foam stiffness receives mixed feedback, with several customers noting it’s firmer than expected, and one finding it too thick and heavy.

    Super Helpful
I have one bad knee and one weak leg. I can’t simply bend over or kneel down to pick something up or look at something at low level. This kneeling pad is perfect. The handle gives leverage needed to go down slowly and provides support needed to get up. I first looked into full size kneelers but they are bulky and heavy. Thankfully, I found this gem. Yes, it would be great for gardening but I use it to help with my physical limitations. I love it.

helps to kneel on then get up
Yes, the foam is firm, it has to be able to keep the plastic handle in place. But the floor/ground is much harder so the foam still beneficially pads my kneeling knees. I’m big with bad knees and I can brace both hands on the handle and push up to stand. It may loosen with time because of my weight, but it is helping a lot while it lasts!

    The foam is very stiff.
The design of this item pulled me in but, my knees could not take the stiff foam. The idea of a handle is a good one , for sure. The foam is hard and too thick.

    Surprisingly good
When I first put this together I thought it was going to be junk… but it works very well and is easy to use. The handle to help me get up and down is very sturdy. I wish the foam was a tad bit softer but if that was the case the handle may not work as well. Overall I am very pleased with it, and I would recommend it to a friend. It makes cleaning my house so much easier.

Made for short, thin, flexible people
I have a bad hip on one side, a bad knee, on the other, and a bad back in the middle. The concept of this is good however, it needs improvement. First of all, the pole is not tall enough so you’re having to practically be kneeling down before you can even reach it in order to steady yourself. The foam pad is not very thick and is quite hard which my bad knee did not appreciate at all. When attempting to get up the one pole, which is too short, was not enough for me to be able to get up I fortunately tried this next to a entertainment credenza, which was low enough for me to lift myself from the other side, or I would likely still be trying to get myself off the floor. The pad needs to be thicker and the top needs to be a little softer with the firmer foam on the bottom, and it needs to be wider so that there can be posts on either side which are taller than what are their presently in order to assist in getting up. I think basically what I am looking for is something along the lines of the gardening stools that can be flipped over as kneeling pads or used as a bench, but not quite as long as that. And foldable, so that it can be stored away, when not needed.

Has held up over time, one year and still going strong.
I got this for my retired dad when he decided to live the RV life but getting up and down was getting really hard with his two bad knees. This has worked like a charm. He is able to get up without struggling and he is not a small man. It has also held up beautifully. The support handle feels very secure when is use but is not at all heavy to carry around. Buying a second one for myself!

The Help-Me-Up kneeling pad makes home chores a breeze! W
I like everything about the garden kneeler. It is used on a daily basis for everything from yard maintenance to general housework. It is kept in a handy spot so we can quickly grab it.It use to be a chore to scrub floors or get up and down to clean baseboards. The kneeler gives you just the right leverage to maneuver without pressure on your knees. We even used it during a painting project that required working in restrictive spaces to do taping and trim work. Don’t know how we managed before without this handy gadget.

    A good idea
The good thing about this mobility aid is that you can use it to help getting up when there is nothing else near to hold on to. However, the kneeling pad is so hard on your knees that you don’t want to use it. I have considered returning it, but I think I will hold onto it for use outside in the summer for gardening. However, I’ll place my softer kneeling pad on it to make it more comfortable on the knees.
