Worth the cost
Great purchase well worth the cost, I also purchased a spare Nalgene lid in blue on blue. It goes well with the mountaintop 40L Backpack in blue. I would definitely recommend it.

I never write reviews for Amazon products but after owning this water bottle for about a year I just have to. This is the most durable water bottle I’ve ever own ive dropped this thing so many times even after it being frozen and it’s held up, and the fact you can legit put boiling hot water in it and use it to keep yourself warm is amazing to me. I highly recommend this and I will forever stick to nalgene products only!

Nice for outdoor days
My husband likes his ânormalâ size one, but needed more water for longer days outside hiking and rock climbing. This give the same quality and attached cap but with a larger capacity. It is nice having both sizes, but this larger size is great for long days with little water access.

I wanted a larger bottle to take on longer hiking trips. The proportions of the bottle allow it to be very stable on mostly flat surfaces even when it is full. The graduated scale on the side helps measure fluid intake over time, up to about 50 oz. The clear bottle color lets me see if there are any particulates/”floaties”/dirt in the fluid. The cap seals cleanly and the bottle can roll around or sit sideways in my pack for hours and never leaks. It is large enough to grip easily and has texturing that helps prevent your hand from slipping if it is sweaty or wet. I like that the cap is attached to the bottle’s neck, so it doesn’t tend to drop to the ground. It is also very durable. I’ve dropped it at least 10 times from about 5-6 feet(2m), onto rocks and even pavement, and it is still perfectly sound. All that, and non-BPA sold it for me.However, what I’ve come to like best is all the real estate on the bottle itself, with enough room to display the story of my travels-the colorful adhesive stickers I collect while exploring different parks. The surface of the outside of the bottle holds them firmly. Excellent product, I will definitely buy another when the need arises.
