Weâve used this for years w my son. Just half a tab (no one should be taking more than 3mg of melatonin, even adults) w his other nightly meds and heâs calming down.

Be aware, does not work for everyone.
So, there isn’t anything wrong with this product. I was taking it for sleep. Had been taking melatonin alone and wanted to try something new. Unfortunately, I am one of the rare few that 5-HTP causes a cortisol surge around 2 am. The first several times it happened, i was dumbfounded. I sat up in the bed, wide awake and hours later had to take a sleeping pill to get a few more hours sleep. When i googled this reaction, i found out about the cortisol surge. I suspect that it has something to do with my nervous system as I am neurodivergent. Please just be aware that something like this could happen. It is no fault of the product and it should work well for most people. If you have ADHD or autism, etc. just be careful.
