A Good First Step to Securing Your Bike
I’m not sure whether this lock would deter a really determined bicycle thief, but it’s certainly more than enough to prevent some casual ne’er-do-well from swiping your ride. Both the chain and lock seem *very* heavy duty and the nylon sheath covering the chain offers near-total protection for your bike’s finish.The locking mechanism and combination tumblers work very smoothly and the numbers are bright and easy to see in most lighting situations.My eBike, which is what I bought this for, is on the pricey side, so I use this lock in conjunction with a “horseshoe” type lock and a folding lock. I’ve also installed an alarm on my bike. Even so, I rarely leave the bike alone in an area that doesn’t have security cameras and a lot of foot traffic.

Not true to size but a good lock nonetheless
It’s a good lock, the combination is easy to set and I like the color. My only complaint is it’s not 4.27 feet long. I measured 48″ from end to end which is barely longer than my old chain. The whole reason I bought it was to have a longer chain which is frustrating but it’s still a good product.
