Excellent preworkout, VERY strong taste
Love this stuff. It really gets me going in the gym, today I hit a deadlift PR after taking this. I mean, holy cow, I only take half a scoop because I have a pretty low caffeine tolerance, but this still really gets you going. The pump, the body feel, the tingling from the beta alanine, you get a really high quality workout after taking this because it just gets your blood flowing. I’m amazed that it costs so little considering you get everything you want from a preworkout mix out of this. My one complaint was the flavor: I got the blue raspberry stuff and MAN is that a strong flavor. I usually dry-scoop my preworkout but even when you dilute it with a ton of water it still has a very strong sour taste. My friends seemed to like the taste after I gave them a scoop but after having taken it a few times I think it’s way too strong. Still, I know I’ll be purchasing this product again because it’s such a fantastic value, I’ll just get the unflavored stuff next time. Anyways, this stuff is fantastic for me during weightlifting, and I would 100% recommend it as someone who’s tried a lot of different mixes that try to get what this preworkout offers.

Nutricost Pre-X Xtreme Pre-Workout Complex Powder is a total game-changer for my husband’s workouts! He’s been using it for 2 months and he’s absolutely hooked. The fruit punch flavor is delicious, and it dissolves easily in his shaker cup. After just one use, he noticed a significant boost in energy and strength during his weightlifting sessions. It’s like he has a second wind! We’ve tried other pre-workout powders in the past, but this one stands out in terms of both taste and effectiveness. If you’re looking for a reliable pre-workout supplement to help you power through your workouts, I highly recommend Nutricost Pre-X Xtreme. It’s a great value for the price, and it delivers on its promises.

Best pre-workout in terms of quality and value
I tried this product the moment it arrived at my doorstep and could not have been happier with the results. A bit of backstory for context – I’ve been on a strict lean bulk diet for about a month now and have been alternating between Bucked Up and STEEL pre-workout, as well as some Celsius on days I had no other alternative. The cost of these other supplements were unsustainable for my budget so I looked into making my own using Nutricost ingredients.I was mainly looking for caffeine, L-citrulline, and beta-alanine as these are the generally agreed upon most important supplements for muscle growth and recovery. I had no previous experience with the Nutricost brand, but due to their great value, I was all set on buying those individual supplements, along with creatine monohydrate and L-theanine (to reduce jitters/anxiety and increase focus). However, in the final moment, I decided for pure convenience to purchase this pre-workout instead of the individual components separately. While this route was slightly more expensive, I didn’t plan to workout long enough to use all 200+ servings of the individual supplements, so I decided this pre-workout was the better option for me.The biggest reason I decided to purchase this pre-workout was the fact that it included all of the most important ingredients for muscle growth and recovery, while also including several other ingredients that are said to help in other various regards. I decided to take only 10g per serving, rather than recommended 15g, in order to decrease the caffeine intake from 300mg to 200mg – I suggest anyone taking this to do so as well. This conversion, however, lowers the amount of L-citrulline and beta-alanine that you get per serving, which is lower than the expertly recommended doses. This worried me prior to trying the product, but I can say after using it that everything worked as needed. The beta-alanine really helped me push through the last couple of reps that usually give me trouble (by reducing lactic acid build-up, reducing fatigue), all without giving me tingles (I’m not a fan of tingles so I was glad I didn’t get them). The L-citrulline helped with vasodilation, increasing blood flow to my muscles, and gave me a nice pump. After my workout, I was still energized and didn’t experience much muscle pain or fatigue. All in all, each ingredient seemed to function as intended.I gave this product 4 stars (4.5 really) for two reasons. The first reason is that other customers report that clumping may occur as you get to the bottom of the jar. Because of the fact that I plan to only take 10g servings, I’m expecting to get 90 servings out of this one jar, which increases the likelihood that I will need to deal with clumping later on. As you can see from my photo, however, the powder came as fine as I could expect, so hopefully clumping won’t occur until much later. The second reason is that I did experience slight stomach unease after taking the supplement. This feeling may go away after taking the product for a longer duration, but even if not, I’d still recommend this pre-workout to anyone who needs a high value low budget supplement.

Great stuff
Although I received my package smashed as shown in the picture, the seal was intact and the bottle was not broken, but this stuff is really great. Best pre workout I have tried. Mixes very easy with a spoon. Tastes and smells very good. I felt no stomach discomfort at all. The ingredients are basically the same as other preworkout supplements but slightly higher on the important ingredients as with beta alanine containing 2000mg when most of the other preworkouts contain 1600mg. It didn’t affect my sleeping pattern at all. Tingling sensation is as with any other supplement of this type but lasted little longer. Energy level is fine, I was able to increase weight on most of my workout routine exercises like 10 to 20% with no problem at all. Also helped me stay focused. Pumps are also good.

Wouldn’t recommend. Taste is unbearable, bad performance
I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like I should for this product. I want to preface by saying I’m a huge fan of this company and I use a lot of their other supplements, but the pre workout is just awful. For 300 mg of caffeine, all I feel is sleepy and weirdly drowsy, almost out of it. I purchased the blueberry flavor, and I have to say it is easily the worst thing I have ever tasted. It’s so sour and it’s straight up awful. I literally have nightmares about the flavor. A full scoop really messes up your stomach, and made me feel really nauseous. I’m used to 300mg of caffeine, so this is not because of the caffeine intake. I’ve seen a lot of people have the same experience as well. Keep in mind I’ve trying this product for weeks in order to really give it a fair shot, but this is really not worth it at all. I would recommend their creatine though. Definitely not for taste, but it does the job.

this product had a good ingredient profile but the taste is so bad it has a really strong chemical taste that i really struggle to drink if you are someone who doesn’t mind the taste and wants the performance then you should try it . its very cost effective compared to other pre workouts overall i would give it a 6/10
