An all around winner!
I got this air fryer to replace another one that died after several years of use. I tried a couple of different ones, but they were a step backward from what my original offered & didn’t cook as well. When I got my Nuwave, though, it was instant love. It is easy to use, with intuitive controls and roomy cooking racks. You can see the food cooking to perfection – I have never had breaded fish look so appetizing while it was cooking! I got the extra grill pan, and we were amazed at how good beer brats looked and tasted after cooking. I tried the probe with pork tenderloin and was impressed by how you can see the internal temperature of the meat as it’s cooking. In my house, we love crispy potato rounds; the results in the Nuwave are the best ever. So far, I’m impressed with the performance especially since it hasn’t set off my smoke detectors! It’s also easy to clean, so it’s an all-around winner!

Only reason I didn’t do 5 stars is because the grease wants to run out of the machine when you open the door. Easy fix but something to look at if you’re worried about that sort of thing.

large capacity and high heat make this great
This browns better than our last one even on same temperature setting. I love the capacity and the high heat settings, the racks are easy to clean, and the bottom pan is sturdy and can be soaked. Also love that I can pause cooking without opening the door. It takes a little more time to heat up than our last one but makes sense cuz larger. I think this is about optimal as far as how much food I can fit in it compared to how much space it takes up. I love to nitpick, but this thing is great so far. The temp probe malfunctioned but that may’ve been user error.

Waste of money
This product is defective. It was purchased as a gift for my mother Xmas 2024. The first unit had issues out of the box, but started working. It began having issues maintaining temperature and heating up to 425 degrees. Occasionally the unit would not turn on until being unplugged. Contacted Nuwave who were nice and sent out another unit. I believe they resent a refurbished unit because it did not work out of the box and had a weird smell the first unit didn’t have. Nuwave offered to send a new air fryer, but after the hassle my mother didn’t want it anymore. Amazon refused to refund me for after sending two defective air fryers. Abysmal customer service from Amazon.

Top notch air frying but lacks longevity
Edit: Iâm downgrading my review due to the number of issues Iâve had with this device. Customer service was mostly good although they sent me a bad part once. But the blower fan died right at the 6 month mark. Fortunately I was still just barely within the warranty window but if this had happened in a week or two Iâd be totally out of luck. I did a LOT of research before buying and from what I could tell every unit on the market has reliability issues like this. But the software on this one is clearly buggy. It has been unpredictable in cooking outcomes more often than not. I use it every night to cook my dogâs dinner and some nights for my own and over time I confirmed 100% for sure that using the same settings would cause the machine to behave differently on different days. If I was able to find a pattern I would have sent it back months ago, but it was too unpredictable. I just canât recommend this device after giving it a very, very fair shot. At the same time, Iâm not sure thereâs anything better out there.So much better and quieter than the Ninja Foodi I was using and light years beyond these little toaster oven fryers. If you air fry a lot of stuff you canât go wrong. Will fit half a 12 or 14 lb turkey (cooking light and dark meat separately) or 4-5 chicken breasts easily. You can really dial in meals you cook regularly, it is very precise. The only issue was that the metal riser was a bit flimsy and one of the legs came halfway detached within the first month of owning it. I contacted their support and it was fairly easy to get a replacement shipped out after providing a receipt and a photo of the issue. The probe is an excellent addition I didnât think Iâd use much at first.
