This blender is awesome. I have been using the blender since I received it last week. It’s definitely what I needed in order to get the most out of my products. My juicing is more liquified and the smoothies are smoother. I was using the ninja for years but this works better. I will definitely buy another one. The price was great with 22% off.

Blends well
This blender while although noisy, it really does its job. Its blades cuts through frozen fruit with some ease but it does take a minute to crush it up. The blender itself is on the heavy side but I have nothing to compare it to. I have no problem with the plastic material, as it makes me feel comfortable using and cleaning the blender.

Third degree burns
So I love this blender for all of 2 days. Then it stopped working and then next day it worked again I plug it in and it quit working after the first smoothie I made. I picked it up to put it up and it burned my hands and my stomach the picture shows it healed now but goodness did that blister hurt and itâs still not completely head but looks better at least. It will work again after cooling down but nothing should get that hot where itâs burning you I donât want kids to come accidentally touch it and it burn them after a use. Anyways I bought the protection plan as well and trying to return it to get a new one thinking itâs may be defective because it does work. Just overheats and stops mid blend. Then they tell me you can only return and get refund no replacements so Iâm wondering what is point of Asurion insurance if you can get it refunded if itâs defective or stops working properly. Itâs been a nightmare to return. And then I donât have the card I had on purchased it with and no one can tell me how I will recover my money from this. And I donât understand how they donât even do anything to connect me with the owners of the company selling it to let them know they have a product that burned me and it hurt very bad. Do not buy and waste time

Great blender for the price
Been waiting to post a review for this blender until after using for a few weeks. I use it 5-6 times per week only for making a giant green smoothie. I’m comparing this OMMO blender to the Rolls Royce of consumer blenders, in my opinion, a Blendtec blender. Considering this blender is at minimum 4x less than the cheapest Blendtec, it does a great job blending frozen fruit and veggies, whole almonds, and a variety of nutrient powders and fresh veggies and fruit. The consistency is smooth and there are no lumps.To get this result, however, it turns out that the pre-set Smoothie function on the OMMO is fairly useless. It has a short cycle that does not blend well and makes a mess of the blender container. Whereas, once I figured out that using the Timer function and setting it to the highest time of 90 seconds using the dial knob and then once blending, I turn up the power from the automatic preset of level 3, progressively to level 9. And then down again at the end of the cycle. I usually do not need to let it run the full 90 second cycle as the contents are smoothly blended well before then. One other great result from this method is the smoothie contents stay contained and do splash all over the jar and underside of the lid. Usually after blending the underneath of the lid is completely untouched and does not need washing. Whereas using the pre-set Smoothie function makes a mess of the inside walls of the jar and the underside of the lid.The blending jar is very tall and you need a long spatula to try to get out the remnants of the contents. And even then, due to the ridge in the plastic jar on each of the four sides, it makes getting a clean scraping of the remaining contents difficult. Add to this, the 4-way blade (as compared to the 2-way blend on a Blendtec) makes getting a spatula to the bottom of the jar difficult.All in all, these are minimal drawbacks to an otherwise powerful and nice looking blender that makes a smooth, lump-free smoothies. I will try to expand my uses of this OMMO blender for grinding and other purposes, but for now it’s a more than suitable stand-in for my high end Blendtec blender sitting in storage in Europe at a fraction of the cost. Here’s to smooth smoothies!!
