Excellent BP monitor
Easy to use. I donât use the app. It stores 200 total readings for 2 users on a clear screen. Time, date, easy to set. Itâs validated for accuracy and itâs extremely accurate. It was tested against 2 other accurate ones.Very cool feature lets you know your arm is in the right position : the heart lights up in blue- thatâs when you are in the correct position. You have 5 seconds to get your arm positioned which is plenty of time. The cuff fits well, lets you know if it was too loose, or if you moved during taking the reading. LCD is easy to read. Look straight at it and there are no overlapping numbers. Iâm dyslexic and have no issue with the LCD. Great compact carrying case. Directions are clear. Excellent value for it on sale! Detailed instructions in English and French pero no en español. Por qué no? Definitely recommend. Itâs very quiet, you forget itâs on. UPDATED TO NOTE: it says to put it 1/2â from inner wrist crease. But not to cover the bone that protrudes on outer wrist. I would suggest going by the bone because 1/2 â from inner crease covers that bone on me. Do the wrist test :)Muchas gracias, OMRON!

No problems encompass
Purchased for 93 year old mother. Mom already had an Omron BP monitor for upper arm, but found it difficult to use, so bought this Omron âwristâ type BP monitor for her to try. As it turned out, Physical Therapy guy was there when new wrist BP monitor delivered so he had the opportunity to test it against his personal BP monitor as well as Momâs existing upper arm BP monitor. After comparing the results of all three BP monitors, he found all to record accurate readings. So, this new wrist style gave us accurate readings and was easy (per Mom) to use. I know other folks that purchased this wrist style have encountered various problems, but we have not had any problem whatsoever. Mom loves it.

Good pressure checker
This is a great product and reads very well I compared it to hands on at the nurse’s station. if you want you can subscribe to a doctor and the readings go to them

Accurate and Easy to use
I have tried many of these cuff units. My experience has been that they are widely inaccurate. Most MDs will tell you an upper arm monitor is the gold standard. I have both this unit and an Omron upper arm unit. Maybe itâs the indicator that assures the right position, but I was very impressed to see almost identical readings (+/- 1mm), over several days, on the units. This unit so much smaller to store and nice if you need to travel with. The only reason I did not offer a 5star rating is because the readings are not backlit and a little hard to read in low light.

Utterly useless, frustrating device
I have an Omron BP652 cuff purchased ten years ago. I misplaced it and decided to buy this âupgradeâ rather than waste time and frustration looking for my old cuff.Instead, I wasted about 75 bucks and bought hours of frustration and a device Iâll toss in a drawer and hope to forget. First off, the instructions say to get the app, pair with bluetooth, and it will set the time and date on its own. Although I had no intention of using an app and phone to take my BP, I did as instructed⦠or tried. After nearly an hour of failed attempts to pair the device, it finally linked with the app. However, it did not set the date and time. I tried to det the date and time manually. Fail.Ah then, now to take a reading. Over and over and over again, I get âE4â â I supposedly moved. Well no, I did not move, other than to breathe. Tried over and over again. âE4.âEvidently this device will only read your blood pressure after youâve ceased breathing. After two hours of futility, I went searching for my old BP652. Found it. Still works. No, it doesnât have all the buzzers and bells. Yes, it whirs when the cuff inflates⦠big whoop. It also will not send my medical info to a hacker in China.Save your do re mi. Donât run your blood pressure up messing with this ridiculously user unfriendly device. Iâm just as fed up as one can be over an inexpensive little electronic appliance. Iâll either try to return it â still more hassle I had not bargained for â or just take a mallet to the thing and dump it, which would be a lot more gratifying.ADDENDUM: Just try to return this item. You will be given three options â âtroubleshoot it yourself,â waste your time with online support from amazon, or waste your time with online support from the manufacturer. Iâd rather eat a bowl of ground glass than jump through those hoops, thanks. If the product is this difficult to use, the product shouldnât be on the market for home use. Iâll eat the purchase price and chalk it up to experience.

I bought this BP monitor about a year ago and wanted to see how it performs before I write a review. Now that I’ve had it for a while, I can report that it has exceeded my expectations, considering that had bought cheaper ones in the past.My doctor was willing to indulge me and compare this one with his office BP monitor and I was very happy with the results which were comparably accurate. I noticed that some people reported that it was inaccurate which baffles me and it is possible that it may not be making proper contact with the wrist. The wrist band should always be placed snug just above the protruding wrist bone (pisiform bone). Inaccurate and erratic BP readings occur often when the wrist band is in the wrong position. This device is easy to use and, since I take my readings twice a day, I find myself replacing batteries about every 4-5 months. Not bad at all. I even contacted the company to assist in registering the warranty and they were very helpful. This was definitely worth paying a bit more for.

GOOD: Being able to use this on the wrist is very convenient. The device appears to work (at least it returns a result that seems believable).BAD: Downloading data. So bad I will say it is impossible. If you are selecting this based on it’s ability download data THIS IS NOT THE DEVICE. Very user unfriendly.EVEN WORSE: Jan 2022 this thing no longer works even to take BP – never mind the alleged convenience of bluetooth and historical downloads of data. Persistent E5 error (clothing interfering with the reading). Is there a warranty? Before it crapped out it was telling me my BP was 170/120 which led to medication change. Maybe this was a dud is the best thing I can say about it.
