OPTP soft foam roller.
I bought this OPTP soft foam roller. The soft density (firmness) is perfect for me. I was able to use it without experiencing pain. The quality is good. It thought it was effective because I felt better after using it. I bought the long one about 36 inches. I like the long one because I can use on both legs at the same time for some of the rolling. But for me, if I had to choose one I think I would like the shorter one because it would be easier to use for some of the exercises. The shorter one seems like it would be a better size for me because I am 5 feet 3 inches.I have a firm foam roller (different brand) that is about 20 some inches at home as well which is quite painful when I use it on my quads and or side the my legs. Therefore I don’t use on the front or sides of my body. But I can tolerate it on the hamstrings and glutes.

Perfect roller for mat Pilates
Arrived in perfect condition. I needed a softer (and longer) roller for my mat Pilates workouts. I tried using a traditional roller and it felt like I was rolling on concrete. This one is much softer, yet firm enough where I can still roll and conduct the exercises. So relieved I found this brand. There are a few others out there, though this brand offered the most options of soft rollers at a much more reasonable price.

Perfect Softness/Density
I am a senior and was looking for a foam roller to help in correcting my upper back posture. Most of the rollers I looked at were as hard as a tree log. This OPTP Soft is soft enough to place under my upper back or along my spine for posture exercises for as long as I choose. It compresses just enough for comfort while providing more than adequate support. The material is very high quality and I expect it will last long time without any compression set.

Soft roller
Pretty soft roller; not as firm as I was expecting. When I roll my quads the ends lift upâthatâs how soft it is. More of a gentle pressure. Maybe good for older people. Seems like decent quality. But it does the job

Perfect density, helpful textured surface and worth the price!
Excellent product! I read a lot of reviews and bought a cheaper foam roller that was so dense it was actually quite painful to lay on as directed by my PT. This roller has significantly more give and is comfortable to lay on to do my stretches. It still offers enough support so it holds shape when you have all of your weight pressing down on it. Someone mentioned an odor and I didnât notice any odor when I unboxed it. The texture on the surface makes it easier to get on and off of it without it slipping away from you.

Expensive but worth the money because itâs so soft
This roller is a little expensive, but itâs well worth it due to its soft and pliable nature. I used it to massage the front of my legs after hip surgery. It worked really well and was not overly painful due to the pliability. I recommend it.

My Back is Happy Again
Used this at a yoga studio then bought my own. Itâs the perfect density to roll out tight back muscles. Iâve used it almost daily and itâs been a game changer for my lower back.

The sweet for an achy back
The sweet spot between firmness (need to keep things pressed evenly) and compliance (need some give to avoid pain and over-pressure) is this particular roller. When my back hurts, this is the go-to tool. When i’m feeling fine and just need some PT reps, the medium OPTP works well, but is too firm for me when I’m achy. You can get other medium foam rollers for less, but the OPTP Soft is worth the extra $$$, as it’s just right, and seems like it will last.

The soft density really helped my wife gain access to foam rolling. She couldn’t use the harder ones, which meant she couldn’t do any foam rolling before she got this one. She also really enjoyed the length of this one as you can lay it along your spine in a stretch that opens up your chest which is very useful for posture problems.

Works great! Nice soft foam roller

Perfect density and softness for MELT. I bought a different roller from Dr. Health that was classified as “soft” but it was too stiff for me. this one is perfect.

Perfect! I love that it is not the hard roller. Works well. Good length for working out with.
