Why OralBreeze?
Reversing and preventing gum disease relies on daily plaque control. But while brushing your teeth every day is a good start, it simply isn’t enough. That’s why dental professionals recommend oral irrigation as an effective way to reduce plaque buildup without the tedium of flossing. Using an oral irrigator like those produced by OralBreeze for just 15 seconds after brushing can significantly improve the overall health of your teeth and gums, according to recent dental studies.
But you can’t reap these benefits just by buying an oral irrigator. You have to use it every day. The “stew” of trapped food particles and saliva known as plaque hardens into tartar in just 24 hours and then can only be removed by a dentist. So unless you commit to getting rid of plaque every day, no matter what, this contaminated crust will build up and inflame your gums, eventually leading to advanced gum disease.
Many oral irrigation products are large appliances with bulky tanks that take up valuable counter space and are just too much of a pain to set up and use. As a result, 90% of oral flosser’s sit in bathroom cabinets or under the sink collecting dust, rather than removing plaque like they should. Out of sight, out of mind! However, OralBreeze products are designed to easily connect to your bathroom faucet without blocking it, so they are always ready to use.
OralBreeze Advantages
OralBreeze products also have a number of other advantages over other competing products…
No mess to clean upNo bulky tanksNo loud electric motorsNo painNo pulsating motorsNo breaking the bank

Love it
I attached this to a handheld shower head and have had it for a year. It does not interfere with the flow through the shower head when the ShowerBreeze is not on.Attaching it was easy though I did need two tries to add more plumbers tape for a better seal and I did need a wrench to (carefully) get it tight enough, though it said not to use one. But I did not have the strength to get it that little bit of extra turn that was needed. Since then, it never has leaked and it does work with the hand held shower heads. The 3 foot hose is plenty long enough. I use the lever for turning it on and off to hang the hose off of it rather than use the supplied hanger. This helps me to remember to turn off the lever. It is a wild beast if you forget and it is on when you turn on the shower! The stream is powerful. Turn it on with it out of your mouth and pointed away from you to first judge the strength of the stream or it could hurt. The wider open you have the lever, the stronger the stream. It really does get your teeth cleaner. I love this thing. And being in the shower, you do not need to worry about causing a mess. Just be aware of where you are pointing it. I also have a permanent retainer glued to the back of my front teeth, top and bottom. This cleans between the wire well. I can see this working with braces, though start with a gentle setting and work up, just in case.An additional bonus is that after turning off the shower, I can open the lever to “on” and water will better drain out of the faucet and shower head hose ( which is left hanging down for this). This leaves less water sitting in there in between and hopefully less of a chance for bacteria to grow. Just remember to turn it back off. It only takes a few seconds. After a year of use, the plastic tip is holding up just fine. Unless you chew on it or bang it around, I do not see where it would wear down or warp fast. I have not touched the second one it came with.

This purchase is a total no-brainer. I’m sold.
When I find a product that is a commonsense solution that is simple, built to last, and works perfectly I’m obviously sold. This Oral Breeze thing works wonderfully and looks bound to last a long time. This is a case where less is more- you already have water pressure so no need to buy some cheap little pump-in a box/ water reservoir that you can only use at the sink. You can also mount these by a sink if you want, though. They do have a sink model.A simple, commonsense product usually requires some common sense on the part of the owner- you need to select the power of the water flow to your liking (just test it on your hand. It does take some getting used to, just like a waterpik does, because the water tickles.Other reviewers are right- sometimes after a busy day where you couldn’t brush well (or after a camping trip) you actually smell a funky bacterial smell when you blast out the molar/wisdom tooth crevices- and you praise this thing for getting that out. I’m not sure if floss really cleans it all out- but I’m pretty sure this thing does. One of the rationale in buying this was that it would more than pay for itself in dental bills. My dentist has always told me that if I flossed better I would hardly see him- even though I floss occasionally (which I guess is not enough!). Between flossing and oral breeze I find that I am covered more consistently and to date (6 months later) not one cavity. Not to mention that it massages the gums and cleans inside the gumline. Great product.I cleaned the heck out of all of the tile/grout just as an excuse to stay in the shower and play with my new gadget. It performs this “off-label” task quite well. Just don’t go nuts with the water pressure or you might remove some loose grout.I LOVE that this thing is designed to work in the shower. The major flaw in the waterPik was that the entire concept of spraying out your mouth out by the sink is just plain goofy and bound to make a mess, spatter the mirror, etc. These guys knew that it was time to move the entire operation into the shower where it belongs. Now every time I’m looking for a unique and useful gift for another guy, I buy this. I’m getting one for my brother and one for my dad. If you are considering buying this, my recommendation is that you rest assured and go ahead and buy this. Buy the longer one.

I really like it
This is my first oral irrigator of any kind, so I can’t really compare it with any other waterpiks or anything like that.Overall I am happy with this product. I’ve had it a few months and it works as advertised. It was easy to install and I like how I don’t have to worry about spraying water everywhere when using it. I also like that it’s always hooked up, all you have to do it turn the switch to turn it on. It makes your teeth feel really clean and you just feel good when you use it. You can also use it as a high pressure sprayer to clean your shower with. I’d recommend the longer one if you have a big shower and want to use it for that though. My only complaint is that the sticky backing on the holder for the irrigating heads fell off the shower wall after a few weeks, even though I made sure the wall was really dry when I applied it. So now I either have this tube hanging in the shower or I have to wrap it around something random in the shower so it doesn’t get in the way. Also the thing is pretty ugly to have in your shower. The rubber hose is a horrible color. I wouldn’t buy this if you ever have guests using your shower. It’s kind of an eyesore.Overall I recommend this. It’s convenient and easy to use and reasonably priced.

Didn’t Last Long : (
Loved it while it worked. 2 months in, it started malfunctioning. The valve stopped working. It was stuck in a partial on / partial off mode. I had to remove it just to take a shower.
