READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY
I want to start out by saying that this in no way is a fitness tracker, if you are into fitness in any way and have an Apple Watch continue to use your Apple Watch. If you are curious about your sleep, stress, your period cycle I would say this is a good purchase, and get the ring sizing kit. Also make sure you check with your insurance provider â they might just cover this.1. Sleep- this really goes into detail about how much lite, deep, and REM sleep, this also calculates how long it takes you to fall asleep, your movements throughout the night, a part of this calculates your readiness (will talk about that at the end)2. Live Heart Rate – this along with the âdaytime stress feature (will do into that on 3), you can actually monitor your heart rate and do a âliveâ heart rate and actually feel the beats per minute, it calculates your HR in 30 minute increments. This will measure your HR at night (and it kinda calls you out if you have an elevated HR from drinking alcohol)3. Daytime stress – the app/ ring is able to calculate your HR based on stress (this will take a couple of weeks to figure out). It tells me when Iâm in relaxed, engaged and stress stage, and the restored stage (how long it will take you to recover from being stressed) this has really been helpful for me especially since working from home. This plays into your Rediness score.4. Cycle Insights / Natural cycle- Ladies this one is for you if you are looking to come off hormonal birth control and/or looking to start a family or if youâre honestly just curious. I will say the more data that you provide the app on your last 6 periods the better it has predicting (but no worries if you donât know it) will talk about the natural cycles app in a few. This will take your body temperature every day and create a graph, when you download the natural cycles app (which btw pairs wonderfully with the Oura ring) every morning you will open up the Oura ring app and allow everything to sync then it will transfer that data to your natural cycles app. There you will have Green Dayâs ( your safe days for s*x), and red days when itâs not safe (unless looking to start a family Iâm sure yours will be very different from mine). This will predict days of ovulation based on your body temp. And your est. next cycle. You will then fill out this form it will ask you if youâve had s*x, bleeding (for period), LH test, ovulation symptoms and your overall âhow are you feelingâ. The more information you give the app the better.5. Your Readiness Score – basically everything I talked about sleep, HR, temperature, âactivityâ even though I donât use it. I put my Apple Watch information into itâ your stress, this calculates everything and gives you a readiness score to take on your day. It may give you advice to relax, call you out on your drinking âhey your HR was elevated did you consume alcohol or have a late light snackâ sometimes it can tell you that you might be coming down with something, or that you can take the day on.I will say there are CONSâ itâs a wellness ring, not a fitness ring. The appâ¦â¦ itâs $5.99 a month⦠for a ring that you pay $350 based on the ring and finish. Kind of annoying. This does scuff pretty easy (so if you wear this while working out get a ring protector). However the Proâs outweigh the consâ¦. Iâm able to learn a lot about my sleep Iâve got some PTSD/ insomnia from the military. Iâve been able to learn a lot about my stress and period tracking. I think this was very much worth the purchase (I did hold off for a year).

If you are on the fence, go for it.
Love, love, love it. (Gen3, rose gold) Never got into the watches and such, but appreciate the basic information about sleep, activity, etc. However, it has more than just that – Aura shares sleep study info that you can dive into and get more info as well as other insights. As it say, try it for the 24 hrs- I tried it on 3 fingers until I found the right one where I don’t feel it or it interferes. It does go at least 4-5 days without a charge. And never have a connection issue with my pixel.I have had the rose gold for over 6 months and it still looks great. I did buy protectors and will put them on, just in case. The only down side I have found is that I read every night and it doesn’t like my “latency”- ie the time it takes for me to fall asleep. It dings my sleep score each night. 🙁

love it so much this is my second one!
Originally bought this exact model color and size in January of 2022. worked great for 3.4 years before it kicked the bucket even after trying all the reset hacks. (i wore it daily the whole time).Didnât want to spend 349 for gen4 as i was very happy with this model but it is no longer on sale on the oura website. Luckily I found it here for 199. thatâs a no can beat deal.Received it overnight and now iâm back and running. i may even wait for them to drop lower and buy another one for when this little guy poops out in the next 3 or 4 years.A**** buy.

Helpful
I enjoy seeing my trends. I appreciate that I can wear it in the shower and pool. The extended pieces help keep the ring in place. I like reminders to move for when I sit at my office desk too long. Easy to maintain. Holds a charge well. My only complaint is that the step counter is inconsistent. And if I enter a walk the ring missed, it doesn’t attribute an appropriate number of steps, which throws off the accuracy of my goals.

Exceptional Tool for Health Insights
I had no idea how fabulous this tool was! I am thrilled with my purchase of this Oura 3 Heritage ring. It has provided invaluable insights into my health patterns. (Iâve had it for exactly one week now.)I had been concerned about sleep efficiency especially since apnea runs in my family. The amount of information it provides is exceptional: time asleep, breathing and oxygen levels, if there are any interruptions in breath – they would be noted and if there are none, that is also clearâ¦. heart rate + variability, and so much more. All without having to wear a bulky watch! I still use my watch to track workouts but I am now just using my Oura app to see it all (they communicate so it uploads effortlessly).I had one night when I didnât sleep much or well (it was hot + I had a lot on my mind) and it said to take it easy the next day. Just the validation of oneâs sleep deprivation is cool! So many of us just push on through. This little app actually supports healthy choices such as resting on a day proceeding poor sleep. One of my favorite features is that you can put it on airplane mode at night while it still collects data. You just put it on your charging base upon wake up to shut off airplane mode/link your sleep data to the app.I have a cover on my ring too since Iâd read about how easily it scratches. However, I may take it off as Iâve seen my friends rings and the more it scratches, the prettier it is! It patinas well. It actually looks better a few years old/scratched than brand new as the âgoldâ looks very bronze/fake.Very happy with my ring!

The best health tracker!
This health tracker is amazing! I would get really itchy wrist and a rash from wearing my fitness watch, but this ring doesnât bother me at all. Very comfortable to sleep with and wear all day, and it holds a charge for 5-7 days! Also gives really great insights into your overall health. Highly recommend the Oura ring!!

Very happy with the ring, use it everyday. I love all the features it offers. Very cool to see my sleep schedule, and especially stress level!Battery last around 4-6 days, which is good I think. I love that it isnât a bulky watch. Not sure if itâs really good at measuring physical movement and burned calories.

I cannot express how much I love my Oura Ring â it has genuinely transformed the way I understand my body, my health, and my daily rhythm. After months of considering various wearable wellness trackers, I finally chose the Oura Ring, and I am so glad I did. Itâs elegant, discreet, incredibly intelligent, and unlike anything else on the market. From the moment I received it, the packaging and unboxing experience felt premium â the attention to detail, the minimalism, and the quality of the materials made it feel more like receiving a luxury piece of jewellery than a health tracker. I opted for the Heritage design in silver, and itâs truly beautiful â sleek, modern, and subtle enough to wear with anything, from gym gear to formalwear. But the real magic lies in what it does. The Oura Ring goes far beyond basic step counting and calorie burn. It offers a holistic, science-driven picture of your health, and its insights are deeply personalised. It tracks sleep with incredible accuracy â not just how long you sleep, but your sleep stages, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, temperature trends, and respiratory rate. As someone who used to underestimate the importance of deep and REM sleep, this has been eye-opening. The sleep score helps me identify whatâs helping or hindering my rest, from late-night screens to alcohol, and I now prioritise my wind-down routine because I can see the difference. Its readiness score is a game-changer. Rather than pushing you to work out every day, it guides you to tune into what your body actually needs. On days when my ring senses that my recovery is low or that Iâm fighting something off, it suggests rest and gentle movement. On high readiness days, I feel confident in pushing myself further in workouts or productivity. Itâs like having a silent coach on your finger who always knows how youâre doing â even when you donât.One of the things I love most is the menstrual insights. Iâve never felt so in tune with my cycle â it predicts my period accurately and shows how my temperature and sleep shift across phases. This kind of cycle syncing helps me align workouts, productivity, and self-care to my natural hormonal rhythm. Itâs empowering and refreshing to have that level of visibility without invasive apps or guesswork.Battery life is another standout feature. Unlike many wearables that need daily charging, I only need to charge the Oura Ring every 4â5 days, and the little charging dock is neat and travel-friendly.The app is intuitive, beautifully designed, and packed with information without being overwhelming. I check it every morning â not out of obsession, but because it genuinely helps me shape my day better. Whether I need to stretch more, rest more, hydrate, or move with intention, I have the data and insights to support those choices.Lastly, I appreciate that the Oura Ring is designed with privacy and longevity in mind. The company is transparent about data and constantly updating the app with useful features, like guided meditations, breathwork, and sleep audio tools. It feels like they genuinely care about their usersâ long-term wellbeing. If youâre serious about understanding your body, improving your sleep, and making intentional choices around wellness and performance â all without wearing a bulky device â the Oura Ring is absolutely worth the investment. I canât imagine life without it now.Highly, highly recommend.
