So what is White Sage?
Scientific Name: Salvia Apiana (White sage, bee sage, or sacred sage) is an evergreen perennial shrub that is native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico, found mainly in the coastal sage scrub habitat of Southern California and Baja California, on the western edges of the Mojave and Sonoran deserts.
Burning instruction:
Light the bundle from the top for about 10-15 seconds then gently blow it out. You may use a feather to distribute the smoke. You may also crush the leaves and place them on a burning charcoal tablet. Please note: sage bundles may need to be lit several times during the ceremonial process due to being a natural herb from Mother Earth.Please be cautious and burn safely – you can use abalone shell or any dish to place the smudge stick. Keep window slightly open for air flow.Keep out of reach of children, pets & flammable material.

This seems to be very high-quality sage and has a nice aroma. It doesn’t burn very well, possibly due to moisture content. It smokes enough to use as a smudge or incense if you don’t mind repeatedly having to relight it.

Burns good
This burns perfectly. Some I’ve used in the past either catch on fire and burn too quickly and scared me or would not light up at all. This burns at a perfect rate. As with most sage I do need to keep a candle going to light it back up occasionally. But overall this is a great value for the money. I do use it in a spiritual sense but I also use it because I’m autistic and really sensitive to most chemical smells used to cleanse a home of bad smells. Even essential oils can be overwhelming. Plus I have cats and there’s a lot of oils that you shouldn’t use with them often. So sage is the safer option that I know of as long as you don’t use it too much and ventilate properly. It helps cover up the smells in their litter box area and garbage smells.

I received it in good packaging. It appeared to be overpriced because Size is also small. It’s made in USA so may be this is the reason. I am not much experienced user of this sage. I ordered another brand sage which was Indian same day and received earlier so tried earlier and it has no Aroma but a little bit somewhat light burning smell of leaves or what. These are Californian sage and there is a fragrance so don’t know if it’s sage or fragrance is added, though aroma is good but expect original sage. Longevity is OK. Just burnt it for the time so will see how it works as far as Calming effect is concerned and how it feels at Energy level. Overall, nice experience. Thank you!Update: Rest is same as above. I still don’t know if fragrance is added to it but it gives me instant relief and smells so good. I expect it to be less expensive or bigger in size which will make it easier to be purchased by many.
