Fantastic investment in my health!
I’m now in the cult and I love it! So happy that I made this investment in myself by purchasing the Peloton bike. It is fantastic to have all of the convenience of a high-quality bike and the many classes and experiences in my home. I grabbed this during the Prime Day ’24 sale and I am so glad I did! It has a small footprint but a huge impact on my health, and the accuracy of the metrics, coupled with the excellent quality of the display, make this a fun bike to ride.

Sad Decline in Quality
Three faulty bikes is too many. The first bike had a bent seat and potentially a bent seat post. The second bike had a faulty pedal that wouldnât screw in. The third had a bent frame making it impossible to balance and pedal consistently. Iâm not sure if this is a batch issue or the new normal for Peloton. Nonetheless it seems there has definitely been a decline in product quality.I regularly rode a peloton bike that was purchased before 2019. It was an amazing bike. The quality and smoothness of the ride I felt was unbeatable. Unfortunately the bike was not mine. I took a few years off from peloton and focused on outdoor cycling. Eventually I bought a Concept2 BikeErg to avoid Pelotonâs $44/month membership fee. While the air resistance on the Concept2 is definitely different than Pelotonâs magnetic resistance I was relatively satisfied with my purchase. It wasnât until recently that I wanted something better suited for interval training. I had finally invested in my own Peloton bike. After receiving three faulty Peloton bikes I was unforgettably disappointed with my purchase and will never purchase another Peloton.I contacted Peloton about my experience with little to no resolution of the issue. They just didnât seem to care about my primary complaint. Even after I expressed this situation would inevitable result in me never buying another Peloton, I received no response. Thankfully Amazonâs return policy is relatively hassle free otherwise this whole ordeal would have been a nightmare. Amazonâs free assembly is also a great perk but itâs important to note they are not product experts. Biking can take some getting used to but if your bike doesnât feel right after set up it could be a faulty product. If you decide to purchase a Peloton I truly hope this isnât your experience.

Worth every penny!!
I got the bike plus and didnât even want to write a review on it. But I feel after being on this bike for only three days I must admit the experience is grand. The bike plus itself is extremely well built, very heavy, very sturdy. The screen is very responsive and big. The speaker system is fine and loud. I was able to assemble the bike by myself but I would suggest two people due to the weight of the bike. Now the whole point of the bike is the peloton subscription. And yes itâs worth the $45 a month. You get tons of videos with different instructors. They make you feel comfortable and push you gently to reach your goals. Whatâs also great is that you can turn the screen or cast it to your tv and get off your bike and do other exercises. I donât like going to the gym. With peloton youâre getting a gym at home and for the price Iâll admit itâs expensive but if you do the math going to spin glasses is more expensive in the long run. Iâll suggest getting the shoes as well, I have them and they do make the experience feel more secure while cycling. I highly suggest getting this bike. It was worth it to me because not only are you getting a very stable bike youâre getting a great motivational experience with the subscription. Peloton is not a commitment, itâs a way of making you a healthier person and youâre the only one that can pursue it.

I was debating buying a Peleton for a while, the cost was really holding me back. But, prime day come along and I got a $500 discount on this bike, so I snatched it up immediately. Refurbished bikes on their website are more expensive than what I paid.I’ll be honest, I was concerned that it wasn’t Peleton delivering it, as they also do the whole set up.. but amazon delivered it on time, the box wasn’t damaged at all which was a relief. All the parts were inside the box neatly. Nothing was broken, everything was there. It took me around 2 hours or so to set up. The box has a home assembly kit with tools and all the screws you need (with a baggie of extras!)The setup was not hard at all, just time consuming. The build quality of the bike seems VERY solid also.It is quite a compact bike, I don’t have a large amount of room in my apartment but the peleton fits very well.Overall, I’d say it was a great purchase! Although I’m not sure I’d spend the original price for it of $1845 CAD.If you’re not in a rush but you want the Peleton, I’d definitely recommend waiting for another amazon prime day as the sale is just too good to pass up!

The Peloton is so worth it. Especially at the Black Friday price I got this for at $1370 + tax. Great for beginners/someone who needs guidance (me lol) and really helps you stay on track while having a great time. It is challenging – so donât think this will be easy.. but youâll feel amazing when you complete a class! Keep in mind there is a monthly subscription fee of $55 a month to be able to use these classes .. but do it you will love it!!Alsoâ Amazon does not assemble this for you so make sure you have someone strong to help you. It is super heavy but very easy to put together

Came in perfect condition and easy assembly. This bike and the packaging is HEAVY. You will need 2 able bodied people to move and assemble it. No problem getting it shipped to rural Nova Scotia, Canada but it did take longer than normal amazon packages.

I live in a remote area and Peleton is not able to deliver in our area. This year amazon started to deliver Peleton bikes in our area! Which is amazing (it is a 6 hour drive to get to a city where they sell them). Finally I pulled the trigger, and I am so happy I did! Delivery, but Amazon gave me a 175 dollar refund! Which was great. The box is very heavy had to take it apart in the kitchen to be able to carry it upstairs. Assembling the bike was easy and quick! Bike is sturdy on high carpet, and the screen is wonderful! I thought about buying a knock off version, but so happy I didnât! The classes are fun and the bike is silent and easy to set to your preference!Happy with my purchase and will continue to ride, maybe one day I will buy a Peleton +

A cautionary tale for Canadian buyers and buyers in general: I purchased the Bike Plus in February 2025 and the bottom bracket failed after only a handful of rides (5 hours of total use time on the bike). After doing some research this appears to be a frequently reported issue. I am outside the Peloton Service area and will need to repair this thing myself.. do some research about bottom bracket failures on these things.. it happens more frequently than it ought for a bike of such value. I expected higher quality components. Also note that Peloton only covers you for 12 months warranty and you must provide proof of purchase through Amazon to be eligible for coverage during that time. They also have VERY limited shipping, and couldn’t even ship the replacement Bottom bracket to my home address!?!?! I had to get it shipped to a family member who lives near a bigger city in Southern BC. Peloton doesn’t provide tools for BB replacement, so I had to buy a crank puller, bottom bracket wrench, etc, etc.. brutal. Amazon’s customer service on this was TERRIBLE as was Peloton’s. Other replacement parts for wearable components are not available on Amazon with very limited other suppliers. My recommendation is to just go to your local rec center, take a spin class, or hit the gym if you want to ride a spin bike socially. The Peloton solution is just a money pit with what appears to be planned obsolesce a significant part of their business model. The bike is NOT built to last. I don’t have many regrets in life…
