This stuffs blends so nicely in all milk, but I prefer almond milk and it tastes just like hot chocolate.

Their formulas blend beautifully into everything—oats, baked goods, smoothies—without that chalky texture or artificial aftertaste many brands suffer from. I’ve tried nearly every flavor (Cookies & Cream and Cake Pop are elite!), so I was excited to try the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut. While it’s *fine*, it doesn’t quite hit the mark compared to their other offerings.**The Good:**As always, the protein powder **mixes flawlessly**—no clumps, even in cold liquids. The texture is smooth, and the sweetness level is balanced (not overly sugary). Nutritionally, it’s a winner: 24g of protein per scoop, low sugar, and no digestive issues, which matters for someone who uses protein daily. I also appreciate that it works well in recipes. I added it to protein pancakes, and they turned out fluffy and rich.**The Flavor Issue:**Here’s the catch: the **White Chocolate Macadamia Nut flavor is underwhelming**. The “white chocolate” notes are subtle, almost vanishing behind the vanilla base, and the macadamia nut flavor is barely detectable. It’s more like a faintly sweet, generic vanilla with a hint of nuttiness. Compared to PEScience’s bolder flavors—like Peanut Butter Cup or Snickerdoodle—this one lacks depth and authenticity. It’s not *bad*, but it’s forgettable. If you’re someone who loves strong, distinct flavors, this might leave you wanting more.**Final Thoughts:**I’ll keep using this tub because the quality and versatility of PEScience’s formula still make it a pantry staple. However, I’ll stick to mixing it into baked goods or oatmeal where the mild flavor blends in rather than shines. If you’re new to PEScience, I’d recommend starting with their other flavors first—this one feels like a “safe” experiment that doesn’t fully deliver. That said, loyal fans might still appreciate it for its functionality, even if the taste doesn’t wow.

I previously wrote a review for the Cake Pop flavor and I would like to edit now that I have tried a few flavors.For every flavor: this doesn’t upset my stomach, the flavors I’ve tried have been all drinkable, and I like that the texture is never grainy.Cake Pop: 6/10 Very, very sweet. Difficult to get the full scoop in your meal because it’s so sweet. I like it sprinkle into yogurt for a little protein boost/ treat, or into baked goods, but it’s just not versatile enough for me to use daily.Chocolate Truffle: 8/10 This has a malty flavor like a chocolate malt milkshake, but is slightly more “protein powdery” and I find it thickens drinks up quite a bit? My favorite way to drink this flavor is in a blended coffee “mocha frappe” type drink.Strawberry Cheesecake: 9/10 My favorite so far. This smells just like Captain Crunch cereal. I just tried it as a strawberry milk made with oat milk, a scoop of powder, and a handful of strawberries. It had a light strawberry taste that wasn’t as artificial as the smell. I think this would be tasty in a smoothie with real fruit or in desserts. The only improvement upon this flavor would be a more natural regular strawberry rather than a “strawberry cheesecake.”

 

Amazing product! Absolutely will buy again, and I was so extremely and pleasantly surprised by the free samples (and so useful, as this gives me the chance to try out a few things I’d actually been curious about buying in the future but, for financial reasons, was sitting on!). Thank you so much for the amazing service and extremely high quality shake! The flavour was EXACTLY what I’d been after, and perfectly within my nutritional requirements (love the very low sugar/net carbs!). Absolutely worth buying in a larger amount – I only wish I could afford it more often!

I love PEscience protein. Tastes amazing, research backed, and the preworkout is the only one I’ll use. I had some issues with my order but they responded immediately and rectified.
