Best purchase I’ve made
UPDATE: After months of use, this has turned into my best purchase. For the dribbling, just make sure not to overfill and to close the lid securely. I’ve made it a habit to just shake the bottle a couple times after filling to get rid of the water trapped under/between the lid and bottle. It’s great not having to taste tap water or dirty gym fountain water. Perfect for traveling.Things to be aware of:Open away from you on a plane because of pressure change. The water in the filter will get squeezed out regardless how full/empty the bottle is.Shake after filling, water can collect under/around the lid and drip on you. A drop of water also sometimes collects at the pressure valve next to the spout with filling/pressure changes (but never when closed).Aside from filling and not closing the lid tightly enough, it has never leaked on me in any bags.My biggest complaint is how small the bottle is. I’m constantly refilling, which get annoying, and longer hiking trips means it’s not enough water.——————————————————————————————It’s definitely on the small side, the filter housing is hard to pop open, and the date/indicator is a piece of loose useless plastic. That said, taste is decent and worked wonderfully while traveling and drinking tap water. The lanyard/loop has a bad design where you have to line it up just right with the grooves on the neck of the bottle for it to seat properly, and this means it does not spin freely. I just got rid of it.My biggest peeve with this bottle is, as someone else mentioned, water gets trapped under the lid between the lid and threads regardless of how securely the lid is on. This then drips all over you as you drink and I’m so over having wet dribble marks down my shirt every day.Otherwise, great bottle, really soft and easy to squeeze, and can save you some money if you’re traveling or normally buy bottled water.

Decent option
Phillips has a nice coupon for a percentage off of replacement filters. Similar to the OneBlade offer on every package, the offer is expired upon placement of the sticker before shipment. Expect filter cost to be regular retail. The bottle works for going through airport security as it is soft plastic. When drinking from it, the vent makes a small noise. If squeezed when closed, we not some water leakage through the vent.Overall a decent replacement for the old soft Brita bottle. There aren’t a lot of filter bottle options out there.

Lightweight and makes good tasting water
I bought this for an all day music festival where there would be free water stations. The water would be city water and I just wanted to filter out any possible chlorine or rust flavors. It worked great. The result doesn’t taste as good as my Brita filter at home, but it’s very acceptable. To me Brita is comparable to Fiji water, and this is comparable to Crystal Geyser or Poland Spring.I picked this over the Brita water bottle with filter because it’s smaller and lighter, and the plastic is slightly flexible. Other reviews have mentioned that the air vent can make a noise when you let go of the bottle after a squeeze. This only happens if the vent is covered by water. Once the bottle is ~25% empty it won’t be a problem. When it’s very full, you can prevent the noise if you tip the bottle towards vertical before releasing. On the plus side, the air vent allows the bottle to be watertight while the spout is open. If it’s tipped over, it doesn’t spill.I have one quibble and that’s with the cap, in my opinion it doesn’t attach securely enough. I can see it sliding off accidentally and getting lost. I may drill a small hole so I can attach it to the thumb loop. For now I’m not using it.This bottle is going to be great for use at water fountains while running errands.

The Replacement for Brita Sport Squeeze Bottles
[UPDATE]: The pressure valve broke in a month and the bottle is now entirely useless. Very cool. The Brita Bottle is dead. Long live the Philips Water GoZero. While I do prefer the better design and size of the Brita bottles (why would you ever stop producing them, Brita?), this is a serviceable replacement solution for anyone out there looking into it.The material is softer and somewhat more rubbery; the cover lid is 100% useless and instantly falls off; the filter housing is comically large and the housing doesn’t make any sense; the mouthpiece is silicone, and while shallower than the Brita, it is much easier to open with your teeth (without hurting said teeth). That said, everything functions, the water tastes great, and you can easily squeeze out a decent volume (albeit, not to the same degree as the old Brita bottles) — provided, of course, you don’t mind an annoying, high-pitched “sqweeeeeeee” sound, as the pressure valve releases the air. I did not experience and leakage issues that other reviewers have apparently seen.I would much rather use the Brita bottles, as the volume is greater, and I drink a hilarious amount of water per day. However, if they don’t want to produce them again, then I suppose this is our Free Market Solution, so the speak.Definitely try one out, if you miss the convenience of Brita squeeze bottles. It’s not the same, and you won’t love it as much, but it’s not so bad. Just be ready to refill your bottle twice as often.

Okay, So I work up north in an isolated location. Their water is treated heavily with chlorine. I bought this water bottle in hopes it would make the water taste less like I’m drinking directly from a pool. The filter and bottle done a great job. Nearly all the chlorine taste was eliminated immediately. However, the bottle makes the strangest noise when you’re drinking from it. You also can’t “down” the water because it comes out slowly because of the filter. Other than the bottle making a sound that resembles a dying goat, it’s decent!

Worked well for the month the filter lasted but cannot buy the blue carbon filters locally (I get itâs my own fault for not checking that first). In essence itâs a very expensive single use water bottle. If in Australia, look at Brita or another brand where you can ACTUALLY buy replacement filters without importing them.
