Nice but could be improved
There are some things that strike me as a bit odd regarding this unit. The hole used to fill the water container from the top is unnecessarily narrow so filling it takes longer than it should. Itâs also not intuitive in its design, it took me a few tries to screw the plastic water container back in, Iâm worried that damaging the plastic in any way would render the unit useless. The emitted steam is very comfortable and you can use it lying down which is my preference when Iâm fighting a cold. The steam only has one temperature available but itâs a very comfortable kind of heat, not the gross sweaty kind. I enjoy it and itâs not bad for the $50 price tag. I do wish the design was more functional, you can disassemble it but itâs a weird shape to store away in your bathroom cabinet. It also has an initial plastic manufacturing odor so if youâre using it on a client you should let it air out first before using.

Amazing facial steamer!
I can finally write a fair review for this facial steamer, and I have to say that this is WAY better than the original one that I got. I’ve been using a facial steamer to open up my pores, and also address other facial concerns. The issue I have with my original one is that you can’t adjust the steamer at all. So if it’s shorter than where you need to position it, you need to get a book or box to have it up higher. Another thing I really hated was that there comes a point where the spout sprays out hot water, which is both uncomfortable and shocking lol. It’s happened to me recently where it hurts getting hot water droplets sprayed on my face.This steamer is easy to use and functions as intended! It was wrapped very well and it came with a brush cleaner to clean inside the device. You need to use either purified OR distilled water with this – I DO NOT RECOMMEND SINK/TAP WATER.After you fill the water up to the measuring line, it doesn’t take too long to warm up. The steam itself is a nice mist where you can position it how you like. It doesn’t rotate up or down, but it does rotate side to side. You can also adjust the height of the steam by twisting this plastic part up or down. There is also another side where I believe it’s more for the ozone option it has? I might need to read into it more.Once the machine is done or near the minimum water fill line, it shuts off completely. Super glad I was able to try out this machine because this will definitely come in handy!

This steamer has a removable water container that is filled with water, snapped back in, and then the unit is turned on. It has two buttons – one for steam only, another for the addition of ozone. You can run steam only or add the ozone to it.It takes the unit 2-3 minutes to start and when it does it is the most wonderful thing! The top handle, which directs the steam, is movable so you can angle it any which way. It blows out a steady, warm (almost hot) steam which can be used for your face, hair, or even as a sinus clearer. I LOVE this machine and it has become a staple each week for my self-care time. One fill produces a generous steam which lasts 10 min+ and I used water from my Brita. It does not direct you to do so.This is the machine that I never knew I needed but cannot live without.

Blast Doors
There is a warning sticker on one of the swinging clear plastic doors towards the rear about not touching the tank when in use. The warning should be closer to the front of the unit or highlighted in the manual. It does not state any warning in the manual about closing the blast doors when in use. There is nothing about the ozone switch in the manual either. I had to look up Ozone Facial Steamers on the web to read about it. The manual is very hard to read without a magnifying glass. Odd that the manual is printed on both sides in English. Usually one side is English and the other side is French / Spanish. The fill hole needs to be bigger. It is easy to overflow it when filling the unit. Awkward to get the water cup / tank out if there is still water in it. It does work as described and seems well made. The only problem I see is the two brown rubber seals on the nozzle. If they wear out or break where do you get new ones?

Effective steam but design makes use more difficult than it should
This is much bigger than expected, about the size of a typical drip coffee maker. That’s not a bad thing, but do plan on how much space it consumes on your counter. It has the water storage capacity of about one of those coffee makers too.It heats up really quick with the heating element submerged in the water. That’s also why it cautions against having any essential oils or additives in the water because it might burn on the heating element.The problem is that the overall design makes it a bit more difficult to use than it should. The water container can’t be filled before it is installed and can only be removed when it’s empty. There is a fill plug to add water which is the only practical way to do so. It has a small hole and takes a while. You could potentially tip the entire thing to the side also but again, that’s just unnecessarily difficult.The steam hose is also more inflexible than it should be. It’s actually completely rigid and just rotates about the base. The angle doesn’t change, either of the tube or the output steam which is directed backwards a bit.

My face has never looked better!!!! Plus Iâm savings hundreds on facials! This facial steamer is small and compact and weighs very little, so itâs extremely simple to use. Really opens up your pores so that you can get a deep cleaning. The heat level is perfect and the steam quality is exactly as it is at a spa. Highly recommend for those of you that enjoy facials as much as I do!
