The Budget Savvy Travelers –
Total Game-Changer For Travel
Weâve been using this travel-size reverse osmosis filter for over a year now, and it has truly been a game-changer for our adventures. The filters have lasted over a year and have filtered thousands of gallons of water without a hitch! The battery life is also excellentâit’s reliable and never left us hanging when we needed it most. Some reviewers seem to miss the point of this product. If you’re camping, RVing, or just traveling slowly, this filter makes it easy to stay hydrated without the hassle of lugging around heavy jugs of water.Sure, the manufacturer states that the filters last for 600-800 gallons, but that’s based on swamp water, not good olâ tap water. Weâve blown past those estimates and have still been thrilled with the performance! For anyone considering this filter, donât let the negative reviews sway you. It’s efficient, dependable, and has made our travels so much easier. We can’t recommend it enough!

Works great! Takes a long long time to charge
I love the filtering, it filters about 5-7 gallons in an hour before the battery dies. The water is delicious and clean, I am able to use any water and it makes good water for cooking and drinking. Started out testing it in my apartment for months before full time living in a van. Tested with a water meter and got consistent results! I run it about once a week now to fill my tank. I would love it even more if it had a faster charge (seems to take all day), or to be able to use it with an optional house plug for filling an extra container. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because there is a learning curve to this machine and takes some experimentation. Other than that, I love it so far!

Buyer beware
Worked perfect the first few times. Then, the green light blinks and after running a around 10 seconds it turns off. No other LED’s displayed, full charge, still blinks green and shuts off after around 10 seconds. returning back to Amazon

Great for rainwater collection!
I used this to filter some water we collect in our cistern for irrigation and dock use. The water was cloudy and had a smell to it with some floating debris in it too. This filter processed that water into clean great tasting water! I hope it turns out to be reliable as this is a simple solution for emergency and health care use. Far better than other options available. It’s so portable it can fit in a backpack for bugging out. Easily charges by usb C. Can’t see a downside to this product.

Boondockers water plant.
We have this unit for camping. We like to get far away. Unless you are summer desert camping a nice to have.

Fantastic for overland style camping
I take extended overland trips where running out of drinking water can force me to ‘head into the nearest town” before I want to. Normally I carry a filtration system that uses a cartridge filter and two 5 gallon buckets, but it only filters out things like Giardia and other parasites. It does not filter for heavy metals or other organic compounds that can be harmful and affect the taste of the water. Having this filter along, I can get fantastic tasting water (bottled quality) from nearly ANY water source. if the water is really cruddy, I can pre-filter it through my cartridge system and then fill my drinking water jugs using this RO unit. Another cool use case is for filtering water that is carried in a plastic RV tank, which are often pretty nasty inside and usually have funky plastic taste to them after sitting in the sun. My camp trailer has a 25 gallon tank and using this filter I don’t need to fill and carry an additional 5 gallon purified drinking water tank. I also like the peace of mind knowing that between my two filtration systems, I can supply clean drinking water to my wife and I no matter where we are if the SHTF.With regarding to comments about slow charging – this will charge from a 100w USB-C brick in about an hour or 90 minutes; I suspect those complaining about slow charging are trying to do it using a 5 watt cell phone charger.

We were so excited to get this. We looked on the manufacturers website and did some research. However, it worked once. By worked, I mean when we got it we ran it and in pumped water and ejected both what they call the dish water and the clean drinking water. Then we charged it, making sure to use a 100w charger. The lights flash three short red, then one solid red. No where is there an explanation of the light cycles, and have yet to find an explanation for this sequence anywhere. We’ve managed to turn it on and it will pull in water briefly and eject a bit out of the drinking water, only to hear the pump strain and shut down every time. The seller is unreachable. Every time they are contacted through Amazon, the reply is did we sell this to you? The manufacturer has non-existent customer support. Email inquires are replied to with the email not being in use. No phone number. Very, very disappointed, especially considering the cost.
