Simple to read and travel with
If you or someone you know is more and more health-conscious they may start to travel with similar Health monitoring tools like this., my father, as he has aged has become more noticeable of his health and always needs these sort of knick knacks for traveling. The monitor is simple to use as it just Clips onto your finger and with a set of buttons pushed you can get your heart rate displayed fast and effectively. Usually he has the standard blood pressure monitors with the cuffs, but those can be bulky and just need so much more time to read your stats out to you. With this, he can keep this in his pocket, over his neck with the included lanyard and even use the Bluetooth app which connects to the device to keep a record of his readouts for a future use, which we can then Supply to his doctor when asking for his most recent reading. I like that it takes very little technical knowledge to use this and maybe even less time to get it set up. Or anyone who has a parent or just wants to keep track of their health as well in terms of heart rate, I’d say that this is a great option for something portable yet effective.

Accuracy
This is very small and runs off batteries. I can take it anywhere. It is good quality. It’s provides accurate info. Info is provided quickly and is easy to read. It’s fits my finger comfortably. The design is good. The value is phenomenal considering it give me peace of mind.

device itself as good as any other – app is more like a proof of concept – not complete
the device itself seems to work fine to get a quick measurement of spo2. However, my need was to pair with the app which would monitor (mostly while sleeping) and alarm if oxy goes below a certain point. This function works sort of like a proof of concept in that the alarm works and does monitor. But not complete in the following ways:1. When the phone goes to sleep the app seems to quit monitoring which, of course, completely defeats the purpose of setting alarm values. As soon as you’re not actively looking at it, switch to a different app, or set the phone down, the app stops monitoring – what’s the point of that?2. If the device becomes unavailable – could be batteries die or the unit falls off while sleeping – this should be able to cause an alarm or should at least be an option to – no such option is available.3. If and when the above occurs, once the issue is addressed – replace battery or reattach device – the app doesn’t automatically reconnect to the device – you have to completely exit the app and start over – sometimes several times before it will reconnect4. Similarly, with this or any pulse oximeter i’ve used, sometimes it just stops measuring then a few seconds later will start measuring again for whatever reason. When this happens, again app disconnects with no alarm or warning and stops monitoring. It will not automatically reconnect once the unit is measuring again.Seems like minors issues to correct by the developers. Once corrected would be a very useful app together with the device.BONUS SUGGESTION: in my case, i have several of these for various family members with covid right now. Unfortunately, the app does not distinguish between one device and another. So the app connects to one of the devices and that’s it. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to pair a particular phone with particular device for monitoring. Even better to pair with multiple devices and be able to monitor them all or at least choose which one to monitor at any time.
