This is a great 7 cup filtration system . The water tastes fresh . The pitcher is big enough for me and I just pop it in the fridge . The color is lovely .Fast filtration too , not that it matters for me . The price is really good and it comes with one filter .

Itâs excellent. Doesnât leak, water is delicious and there is zero plastic smell. It takes a rather long time filtering the water, which I appreciate bc I know itâs actually filtering and the taste of the water supports that.

Cute pink color, relatively quick filtering, doesnât leak, lightweight, easy to use and understand, feels well made, and affordable compared to the alternatives! The cost of the filters is a tiny bit steep but honestly my Philadelphia water was undrinkable prior to getting this filter pitcher so Iâm willing to pay it.

For a few days the Pur Plus filter that came with the pitcher drained the 4-cup tray in 20 minutes. The drain time got longer every day until after 7-10 days it took 4-5 hours to drain the tray. I closely followed online instructions to de-clog the filter (turn upside down, shake vigorously until granules move freely, rinse drain ports for 30 sec cold then 30 sec warm). This reduced drain time to 3-4 hours for one day, then it was back to 6 hours. I call Pur and they sent another filter no charge : ) But the same thing happened. I’ve seen many similar complaints online. Pur should should stop selling this product that doesn’t work as advertised.

This water filter seems to eradicate the strong smell of chlorine, which is very obvious in tap water (Anglian Water company). It improves the overall taste and it is easy to use and to replace the filter. Because I drink a lot of water and use filtered water for cooking, it doesn’t really last 2 months. After a few weeks the water begins to taste unpleasant (like tap water) and so I replace the filter.I can’t seem to find the filters in this country, so I have to buy them from the US.

The top compartment is sealed off from the spout, any tap water will stay there as you pour filtered water from the bottom.The flap at the top holds in open position by itself during refill.Handle is comfortable to hold even when pitcher is full.

Tried to find a smaller Brita filter pitcher but finally gave up. Glad I did because the Pur filter pitcher is superior quality.
