Customers say
Customers find the lemon squeezer works well, particularly for lemons and limes, and appreciate its stainless steel construction. The juicer is easy to use and clean, with customers noting it can fit whole halved lemons and goes in the dishwasher. While some customers find it sturdier than expected, others report poor build quality, and opinions about size are mixed, with some finding it too small.

Easier than squeezing by hand
Overall this juicer performs well. It is quite sturdy and took 50+ pounds on the handle without any issues. The metal is slightly magnetic which isn’t a definitive test, but at the very least proves that it isn’t made of a non stainless steel. There is some flex in the handle under full load but no separation or flexing at welds so I do not expect them to fail. My initial testing was juicing 20 limes for limeade, cut in half, pressing each half multiple times to maximize the juice. If you are juicing oranges or grapefruit which have more compliant skins and better fill the cup, you may not have to squeeze multiple times but YMMV. Cleanup is easy and while it claims to be dishwasher safe, I will just hand wash because it’s so quick and simple. âThe juicer is actually smaller than expected which is good because it can be easily stored and doesn’t take up too much room. That said, you should still be able to juice half a large orange at a time. Exceptionally large grapefruit may have to be quartered, but should still work with this juicer. If you plan on juicing 10+ pounds of citrus for a lemonade stand, you may want to look for a more professionally style press, but for a pitcher or two of lemonade this works great. This would also be great for juicing small portions for cooking if you have problems squeezing citrus. You are able to place the base on a counter and put your weight on the top handle without needing grip strength. It is also convenient to use in those circumstances as it is small and easy to store, and requires very little set up/cleaning time. The strainer grid moves around a bit and isn’t perfectly symmetrical but that doesn’t impede the use of the juicer. I also didn’t use the included bags because I don’t mind a little pulp, and think it would be better just to strain the juice afterward unless making very small batches with everything fitting in one or two bags. This is much easier to use than your typical dome citrus juicer, even an electric one, and doesn’t leave you with cramping hands. I was able to get pretty much all the juice out of my limes with multiple presses, and even with a single press you would be doing better than those other ubiquitous presses.

Easy to clean and use lemon squeezer
Out of all 4 different types of lemon squeezers I have bought, this is the easiest by far and gets the most juice, depending on the size of your lemon and your strength. I don’t have much strength in my hands due to hand injuries, so I learned to pick my lemons smaller to get the most out of them.

Very effective.
By far the best citrus juicer Iâve personally ever used because it extracts more of the juice from(usually limes) than any I have previously used. The one potential downside is you need strong hands and a relatively wide grip to squeeze. But there are easy ways to adapt to be able to effectively use the juicer. Overall I give it 5 stars because there is little to no waste. Very effective. Also there is minimal pulp that comes through. I guess that is what the filters are for but for me itâs such an insignificant amount that I will probably never use them.

Not for indoor use
I would not recommend this, except maybe in the sink. It sprays a bit of juice no matter how slowly I squeeze it.Its’s a firm squeeze that could be a bit much much for weak hands. Put a pad under the end of the bottom handle and you can just push down on something. It would really nice if they had put something flat on the end for that.I live in a neighborhood that was formerly a Sunkist citrus orchard, so I have a small (5oz) glass or two of orange juice every day during the season when oranges are basically free.I use it in an outdoor sink and it’s great for that. I would not use it for more a couple of than small glasses – or half a dozen oranges. I like the juice from tangelos so I get some seeds but they float so I can skim them off with a teaspoon. They include some filter bags but that would remove the pulp which makes fresh squeezed orange juice great. This is the best I have found (I think I’ve tried most of them) for daily use. I have an electric juicer that I will use if I ever want to do a lot for freezing, but it’s way too much cleanup for a couple of glasses.

Began rusting after first use
I was initially rather excited for this item, as I have been in need of a better citrus juicer for some time. My excitement quickly faded however. Right out of the low quality box it was shipped in you could tell the item quality would also be subpar. Itâs made of cheap steel described as âstainless steelâ, but it clearly is some other low quality composition. The handle is spot welded on poorly, and on first use I could hear it creak as if the welds were going to give way. The metal is thin all the way around, and as just mentioned, on the very first use ( a single lemon quarter) the whole item flexed and I was concerned something would snap just then. After use, I washed it and put it up to dry. The next day I went to use it again and noticed the rust forming. Itâs not superficial either, as I was unable to scrub it off as you would a spot in your kitchen sink. The packaging is also abysmal. The box is incredibly thin cardboard, and the juicer itself came shoddily wrapped in the thinnest bubble wrap Iâve ever seen. Additionally, and this is no joke, every single one of the bubbles in the bubble wrap had been popped! I donât even have a logical explanation for that detail. There were no instructions included for care or operation of the item either. Iâve worked in manufacturing and quality control for nearly 20 years now and can tell you that this item is nowhere near worth the $2.50 in materials it was made from, let alone the $24 youâre being asked to pay for it.

Great product! Definitely flattens limes and lemons! But the handle isn’t as sturdy as it could be, there were other juicers that looked like the handle was higher quality but then the issue is that you can’t put them through the dishwasher! So overall good product, just don’t go too hard on the handle!
