Another bulbs donât work
I tried using a regular infrared bulb because I wasnât satisfied with the original one. Even though both have the same socket, my bulb doesnât work with it for some reason. So now Iâm not sure what to do. I actually bought this mainly for the stand, not the bulb itself.

This red light therapy lamp is simple to use. The tripod adjusts at 5 points for height and tilt so you can set it very low to high to reach a mat, chair, bed, etc. It has a simple on/off switch. The edges of the bulb are smooth and everything about the construction is high quality. It only gets warm, so you can safely position it close to the body if desired.I got this for my knees, shoulders and back to help with pain and mobility. When I use this in the evening, by morning my knees are moving much better, with less pain and stiffness. It helps so much that I’m also using it on an adopted, older dog who has joint issues. She will go lay under it in her bed. Her swelling has gone down and she is walking better. This is a non-invasive, effective, easy therapy to do at home with good results. At the current coupon cost of about $50, it is an excellent value. I hope red light therapy helps you like it does us.

I am blown away by this red light. It was so easy to set up and use. This red light is the real deal and the safety goggles should definitely be used every time this light is used.I use this light daily to help with pain relief. This light is a great size and easy to set up and disassemble. This light is comfortable to use and my fiancé and I both use this at the same time while wearing our goggles of course. This light is a great value for the money.

Item is not as described. The one I received was not 850 nm near infrared. It was 660 nm only!
First the good. The stand is absolutely perfect for my needs. It is more sturdy than I expected and very adjustable. Only wish I could keep that.Now the bad which made it very disappointing. It is not as described in description which says that 9 of the leds are 660 nanometers wave length, which is red, and 9 leds are 850 nanometers wave length which is near infrared and can’t be seen with the naked human eye. Unfortunately the one I received, as can be seen in the photo, are all are visible red light which is 660 nm. Now that might be helpful for some but not for me since my doctor said I needed to take treatments twice a day with 660 nm and 850 nm light which is what this unit is advertised to produce. Obviously I have to return it and hope the replacement will be correct. The 850 nm has been found to penetrate much deeper than the 660 nm light.It is interesting that the only reviews I saw for this product are Vine Customers and they are sometimes not as detailed as I’d like. I understand it may be entirely possible I received a defective one. We’ll see when I receive the replacement and I can update my review. I am not a Vine customer. I paid for mine.HERE IS THE UPDATE:I received the replacement that I was assured would be correct, in other words it would have both 660 and 850 nm LEDS. Unfortunately it is no different than the first one. All of the LEDS are 660 nm.I packaged it back up and am returning it. I’m still looking for a red light therapy lamp that has both 660 and 850 nm LEDS. Hopefully I will eventually be able to find one.
