While I want to claim that I love this device and it’s so convenient, I do have hesitations. I do love that it has multiple different wavelengths of red light so that you can address multiple ailments with it. I also love how easy it is to move around and be portable with it. It’s pretty nice to be able to just stretch it to fit wherever you need to address, although it is not quite as maneuverable as I expected it to be. I wish that the height of it could be adjusted so that if you were laying on the floor, you would be able to use it. But with the height that it’s at you probably need to be using it on a bed or a couch at least. It does come with a very detailed manual that explains most of what you need to know as well as a set of sunglasses to make sure that your eyes are safe while using it.One thing to keep in mind is using it around animals. Make sure that you either put them in another room or that they are not staring at the light, as I am pretty sure it can damage their eyes.I also wish that the remote section of the cord was a little bit lower because it’s a little hard to use or make adjustments when you have the device set up, say addressing your legs, so you have to reach all the way back to where the device is (near your legs) to change anything.The actual lighted area is decently size, but it’s really not going to be covering that much of your body at a time so it’s really more for specific area use. That being said the area of it is significantly larger than a lot of handheld torch style devices I’ve seen. It is very nice that you don’t have to hold this yourself and it maintains a consistent distance from wherever you put it from.Efficacy is really the area where I’m struggling. I’m not quite sure if it’s working and I don’t know how to verify those statistics. I would be very curious to see someone else who knows more about this kind of thing to really test this device and see how powerful it is versus what it claims to be. That’s really my main hesitation here with this.I would say if you need something that can address certain areas of your body this is a good option. If you’re looking for something that you can easily get an all over result from this isn’t the device for you. I would recommend looking into body sleeve type red light devices instead, but those come at a steep price point. At the price point this is I think it’s well worth it.

Durable and Well Constructed
I have been using a red light face mask for about a year, and have been wanting a red light therapy lamp for the body since I do think although subtle, the face mask does stimulate the collagen production for my face. This lamp, no doubt is very well built with quality material. The base is heavy enough to hold the lamp in place, but not too heavy to move it around fairly easily. When I sit down on my yoga mat, I can adjust the height to be just over my head. But when I lie down, the lamp can not be adjusted to low enough to be over my body – I will need to move to bed or sofa.I can’t say I have experienced noticeable results after using this lamp for over a month. Again, even after using my much more expensive face mask ($400) almost daily for one year, I can only see subtle results. But I do believe in red light therapy, and will continue to use this lamp for my overall health.

Good quality but not sure it really works
The quality is surprisingly good with durable and quality components. Very adjustable and comes with an eye mask (that’s a little flimsy so if you need a mask, buy a better one). I’ve been using it now for awhile and it definitely doesn’t negatively impact my health but I have a hard time knowing if any improvements are because of this. It’s not an immediate fix, i.e. muscles hurt, shine this on it and you’re better. No, that’s not how it works. It’s meant for long term use for chronic and not acute conditions. I think the best way to use it is to multitask and use while you’re doing something else. I’m giving it 4 starts for the apparent quality but I really think it’s 3 star because I’m not really sure if it works. If you can spare the money, maybe it will work for you but maybe not.

Red light therapy lamp
This red light therapy lamp is amazing! It was easy and straightforward to assemble and is very sturdy. The great thing about this lamp is that it is easy to adjust in both height and reach. I love the timer functionality as well.

I have a knee injury and I heard that red light therapy may help. So I ordered this device to give it a try. It can produce 660 red light and 850, 940 near infrared light. There are 150 LED 3-in-1 chips. I thought I can choose the wavelength but actually the 3 wavelength will be activated at the same time once the lamp is turned on. It has a timer which you can set to 10, 20 and 30 intervals. There are 5 brightness levels you can choose from. A dark glass is included. The dark glass is one size but it fits me.The box feels a little bit heavy. I guess most of the weight comes from the base. Some installation is required but that should take less than 5 minutes. There is also a video on the web page showing you how to install this equipment. Because my injury is near the knee I try to install it as low as possible by taking out one iron rod. You can see my installed lamp in the attached pictures. The lamp is in white color which is different from that shown on the web page. This is alright as I like white color too. The lamp appears sturdy after installation and I am able to set it to the position I like. It is recommended setting the lamp at least 15 cm (6 inches) apart from the target area. I like there is a timer. So I set it to 10 minutes and use the strongest brightness. After that my knee feels something but I won’t say there is improvement right away. This is expected. It mentions that I should use the lamp 4-5 times per week and I should do it 4-5 weeks. So I will follow this instruction.I can’t find any warranty info on the web page and so I assume there isn’t any. I view warranty very important for any electric equipment purchase. For now I will give this lamp 4 stars rating as this lamp appears to be good quality. I may update this review 4-5 weeks later when I have more time to test it.

I started using this light during downtime, and it’s been great. Super easy to set up, and I can point it wherever I need. Even worked while using it, though the red glow makes screens look weird. The simple timer helps since I’d definitely forget to turn it off.The stand is sturdy but not bulky, so moving it around is no hassle. The controls are easy, no guessing involved. Feels solid without being too heavy, which is a plus. Definitely a nice little thing to have when you just want to sit back and relax.

Great for use for full body or target area.
